wtf is wrong with my sound?

I can't seem to hear sound whenever I try to play something on YouTube or anything that uses Flash Player and yes I have it updated to the latest version.

Can someone plz give me some help?

You have newest adobe flash player? Sorry i know the company changed and it messed me up for a while

Yes I made it clear in my first post I have latest version of adobe flash player, infact after my sound went gone I removed it and reinstalled it twice, but that didn't do anything.

firefox = to problem solved. its probably your flash plugin that the problem.

But I never had this problem before, isn't there a possiblity of the problem being from something else?

And besides, what if using FF doesn't fix the problem, then what?

You may think I'm calling you an idiot, but is the volume tab up, and mute off? Youtube saves this stuff in Cookies I believe, so if you muted once, then it'll be muted until you unmute it or clear your cookies.

Edit: I can't remember were my cookies folder is, I checked the My Documents folder, but nothing.

If you are using Firefox, go to:
Tools > Options > Privacy > Show cookies > Scroll down to "Youtube.com" > Right-click on it > Delete.

That will clear the Youtube cookies.
