Switched it back to normal search... that was easier than I was expecting. 8|

I have a problem when posting replies. When I post a reply, the reply button changes state to posting... and hangs. The page does not refresh to show the posted message (This is in quick reply mode btw). However if I do a manual browser refresh I find that my reply has actually been posted, but the client does not get refreshed. I tried even keeping the browser as it is for like 5 mins in one instance but it was still stuck. Any idea why? I am using the latest version of FF.

Edit: this message posted without problems on first submit :)

That seems to be a problem in large threads as the timeout for the redirect seems to be shorter than the time it takes to write to the database.

The post does still go through, it's just the page has stopped listening for when it actually happens.

I've never actually had it work properly; I've had this problem from the first second :xD: .

Perhaps it happens during high traffic times...and also when they detect spammers like Chyros :xD

Quick reply doesn't work in LPTPW, presumably because it is so large (not that that should matter). Realistically, it will only get fixed if I ever get around to migrating to different forum software.
