Post any chemical reactions here 
. I will go with the Glycerine + sthearic acid reaction.
CH2-OH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CH2-COO-(CH2)16-CH3
|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|
CH-OH+3COOH-(CH2)16-CH3 =CH-COO-(CH2)16-CH3
|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|
CH2-OH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CH2-COO-(CH2)16-CH3
Replace the numbers with small ones, except for the "3" in front of COOH.
These are not Structural formulas, and double bonds are not seen ( In the COO part, because the carbon is double bonded with one of the oxygens. If it wasn't, it would have been written as CO2.)
~ is blank space.
Feel free to post anything you have learned or already knew, or request one here. Someone (like me) will write it for you and you can go show it off on your chem classes
