Hello,

I wonder if it's possible to change the default decoder for the vp6 files within the game. I'm a video engineer and I noticed that all the clips appear blurry and the scene motion is very laggy.
To prove that the imbedded decoder is at fault I simply converted a vp6 file from the Movies.BIG into an avi file using the popular VP6Converter. Then I installed the VP6 VFW Codec 6.4.2 from On2 and played it back with Windows Media Player and....voila ! The blurring was gone and the motion was significantly better !

I heard that this decoder is somewhere within one of the DAT files but I haven't found a tool who can open those files yet. To bad ...this game is really nice !

Any suggestion is welcomed !
