The GDI is an alliance between all the advanced countries in the world.

In CNC3 they are all american and it annoys me.

So I need (if anyone can help me out with voices to make a minimod.)

Dutch- Rifleman

Japanese- Zone trooper

French- Pitbull, grenadier

German- Juggernaught, Commando

Italian- Predator, Orca,

I will get my voice actor to do british snipers and Firehawks.

The rest- American




So if anyone can help me out here.. extract the units voices from your language and post them here.

Would be a great help.

Any suggestions for changes post them here.

Heh...Trust me, you don't really want the German voices of Juggs and Commandoes. They suck and I didn't bother playing my Kane-Edition in German. Original voices all the way.
Wouldn't mind helping you though. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the files are located. I guess there is a folder called Lang-German which contains a file called german.big. I don't know what's in there but what the hell!

Tried zipping it but that damn thing is just way too big, sorry.

None, seriously. I know this sounds like I'm trying to take the easy way out of this but compared to the original voices, they're ALL inferior. They're NOT making it unplayable, they TRIED to stick to the tone of the original voices but it just doesn't sound right.
By the way, if you or someone around you has the Kane-Edition, you could fetch French and German language-packages from there. Didn't try French but I guess it's all complete with sounds and voices jsut like the German package which I just installed out of curiosity.

Cant think of anything good for the firehawk really.

Well if the foreign language packs arent really good maybe i could get a few more voiceactors and do them all in english but with accents...

Its kind of hard to find ones that can do the job good.

Took me for ever to find Skje for arage.

Well, having British snipers is stereotypical yet classy. Reminds me of good old RA2. The Brits were my favourite Allied side because they had snipers.

Just an idea, there's a BF2-expansion that features the SAS-Regiments including some cool British voices which IIRC do have a posh accent.

lol one thing your Brit-snipers should definately say: "Tally-ho!"

It actually kind of annoys me how stereotyped Britain is. You watch these American shows and they make us sound like all we do is talk posh, drink tea and eat crumpets.

I'd help out, but there's no way in hell I'm having people downloading my voice. =P
