If you know the nature of my experiment, do not reveal it, or you ruin the experiment.

There are two candidates for presidency:

Candidate A:
A man with a reputation for being a hard worker: often works late at night to accomplish a task. He never has had an affair nor married, and very civil towards those he meets. Likes to micromanage his affairs. Born into your average Joe-type family. A bit hasty sometimes though.

Candidate B:
Charismatic, but with a tendency to get drunk, womanize, and may have had an affair with someone, can be very rude. Well educated, comes from a high social background. May have influenced his entry into politics. Well experienced in the political arena and dedicated. A firebreather.

I apparently cannot open a poll for some reason... so yeah. Who'd you choose?

I would go for candidate B because i need to see the person i am supporting has a little bit more jazz but thats just me because the country i live in has a ex nuclear/missile scientist as a president and a Economics genius as its prime minister. and i hate the prime minister for his lack of adventurous nature.

I can better relate to Candidate A, which is something a candidate for the presidancy wants to have, relatability. He seems to be a man of integrity, and I admire that. Though he's never married, his morals (and possibly his will power) have allowed him to resist the temptation of having an affair. He also seems genuine, which is what people look for in a leader (or at least they hope their candidate for a leader is genuine). So he was born into a middle-class family. All it means is that he earned his stripes, instead of greasing someone's palm like Candidate B.

I THINK I know where this is going as someone from my class asked me the very same question a few months ago. I picked canditate A which - IF this IS what I think it is - gives you the likeliest result. I'm not going to give away what it means but I'm pretty sure I already know it :omfg:

candidate A has the skills that is needed for someone to run a country, BUT a presidant or prime minister, they are just the mouth of the hundreds of faceless people (civil servants).

A charismatic person, with a life, the kind of person people can relate might be the better choice.

A tendency to get drunk - thats not as bad as it sounds, it not like he is going to be drunk in congress or parliment.

Womanises - so what, that would not in anyway effect his ability to talk the talk.

May have an affair - this person is not a soical robot, nobody is perfect, and anyway saying someone may have an affiar does not mean they will.

Can be rude - sometimes for a subborn person to see your side, you may have to be a lil more hostile, but then again, can be rude? thats like saying this ford feista can be diven by a monkey, but it never will.

all the other quailties are fine in a leader, well educated etc.

so with all that i pick........................

A, na just kidding

B!!

I'll laugh when Candidate B doesn't get anything accomplished except for owning the record for "most times in the news for a sex scandal".

I'd rather have someone with morals and a strong work ethic, than some lascivious fool who thinks he can smooth things over with looks and money.

Candidate B. Social class doesn't matter, experience does. Although politics is a bullshit business, I wouldn't want my dad (who fits Candidate A's bill pretty well, outside the marriage part) to run a country. On the other hand, Candidate B has more than one side to him, which is a decent and unpredictable quality for world affairs, and can prove necessary in times of crisis.

Politics has never been about will-power and hard-working, it has been about strategy and public relations.

I say A, more of a honest man to me. Experience really doesn't matter when you think about it. George Washington had little to no political experience and he led the country on a fast track to our position as a superpower today.

I would go with canidate a do i really need to say why its obvious. I dont want some one unreliable for my president witch canidate b, sounds like. Although canidate b is experienced I wouldnt like him to be president and most the majority wouldnt either for obvious reasons.

I vote for Candidate B. He is the truly honest one and the only one I can see myself being able to trust because he doesn't deny the fact that he is a human being in his actions. Besides most of those assumptions are probably over exaggerated, being a part of his rival's campaign strategy.

Candidate A is probably more corrupted than B and quite possibly evil. People in politics with clean slates who manage to get that far always have hordes of skeletons in their closets. He's no saint I can tell you that.

Voting B means being honest to oneself.

B:

This desiscion quite surprises myself, and then again, it doesn't. I am a LIBERTARIAN, so I am quite fond of the social mobility and hard work that gave him the ability to run, on the other hand, I have an enourmous track record for going against the flow.

+I have an unnatural obsession with fire breathers

+I really don't give a damn if someone womanizes or has had an affair, because it's their choice to do the act and it is consensual. This person is standing up to politicians who are trying to force their own moral code on everyone else by making it law.

+I like rudeness. GET TO THE DAMN POINT!

+Well educated

-if he did bribe him, I wouldn't like it for obvious reasons.

+/- I don't care about social backrounds

+Charisma gives him the power to win votes, which is a godd thing if he supports policies I like.

+Dedication is always good for obvious reasons.

Person A. I don't care whether he's had an affair, his personal life doesn't interest me. What interests me is his attitude towards his job and towards others. If I agree with what he says, and he's truly dedicated and passionate in what he tries to achieve, he gets my vote.

i picked A because it sounded much better then a womenizer.

and also if B is ok with being a drunkerd and a womenizer then its safe to also assume hes ok with bribes and other things as well.

Bullshit. Candidate B isn't a drunkard. A tendency to get drunk is far from being a drunkard. What are you? The press? Exaggerating every little detail?

And who cares if he likes his women? At least he shows honesty. You think candidate A doesn't mind being a lonely bum? Hell no, if he could, he'd be a womanizer just the same.
