After about a month, finally I could arse myself to skinn something:

The cargo pod or whatever it is down the bottom needs some work so it fits in with the rest of the skin, and the other parts need some more details.

The cockpit canopy and the cargo pod mesh areas look very narrow. However it is hard to tell with the same render angle on most of the shots.
I think the black lines on the engine pods are excessively thick. I think using the thickness of the lines on the wing surfaces or the cargo pod would be appropriate.
Other than those 2 crits it is looking pretty spiffy.

Thrust me, you don't wanna some of those unloading in your base... (look at what it has in the cargo bay: 2 mammoth tanks!)
BTW: That transparency bug is already fixed

I present this little Idea I had while played BF2142...
Drones for infantry squads
This one will be used by assault and missile squad...
talking about squads...this is how the GDI squads will be in TA:
Assault squad: 3 rifle soldiers, 1 missile soldier, 1 MG drone
Missile Squad: 3 missile soldier, 1 rifle soldier, 1 MG drone
Support squad: 1 .50 cal anti material rifle solider, 2 mg soldiers, 1 mg drone
Recon squads: 2 snipers, 1 rifle soldier, 1 sniper drone
Heavy duty squad: 3 pulse rifle soldiers, 1 AA "rapier" missile soldier, 1 support drone
Spec ops squad: 1 sniper, 2 elite soliders, 1 active defense drone
Commando: 1 commando, 1 support drone
