5 eps to go xD
This ep kind of smashed the standard for mecha shows: In the one episode:
- Gurren Lagann combines with the Arc-Gurren to make the Arc-Gurren-Lagann
- The Arc-Gurren-Lagann then punches an enemy mech THROUGH THE FABRICS OF SPACE AND TIME
- The moon is revealed to be a giant machine which TRANSFORMS INTO A GIANT BATTLESHIP
And this was all in one episode. It's almost too much awesomeness to take in at once.

I've been given a Bob coin from Mr. Bob, a life time supply of cookies from Blonde-Unknown, some Internet Chocolate from the Full Throttle mod team, and some Assorted Weapons from Høbbesy.

*Head explodes*
Seriously, just like... ugh, I can't put into words just how awesome this series was. In fact, I'm scared it was just TOO awesome, I can't see any other mecha anime, past or future, going anywhere near this one any time soon.
Also surprised the ending was so good, usually SR shows have really cookie-cutter endings that you can predict after watching like 3 series. i think the Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann officially surpassed Ideon for the 'most powerful Super Robot ever' title.
I gotta say Attenborough was definately my favourite character though.

*covered in brain matter*
Told ya he'd do it
Anyways yea, I think the epicness of the series can't top anything I've seen. And yea I always disliked and downright almost hated mech anime so I never actually watched any of them on principle. But this, holy shit they did it so well that I completely forgot about it
!
Truly a epic and awesome anime.

Seems there's a movie on the way as well. TBH I'd really like to see a movie on the original battle vs the anti spirals, which Lord Genome took part in.
Great conclusion, but still way open for a sequel if they really wanted to do one.
