I'll save myself the effort by simply linking to this awesome thread at SA where everything is properly introduced and there are links to good quality subbed versions of the episodes.

Gurren-Lagann is a crazy, wonderfully animated anti-cliché super robot show, currently airing down in Japan, episode 13 and counting. If you enjoyed FLCL, and if you enjoyed GaoGaiGar, Evangelion, Gunbuster etc. you will enjoy this.

Watch a few episodes so we can get a discussion going ITT, spoiler warnings where needed please.

Hey, the show features walking battleships performing roundhouse kicks on flying aircraft carriers after using a mountain as ramp to get airspeed. :popcorn: "Super" is an understatement.

I don't care if I'm nercoing this topic, I have something to say after watching every episode from the first to the last.

This anime has epicness that's right off the fucking scales and trying to explain it is near impossible, it's a must watch, it was sad when certain characters died but it was still an awesome show.

Might aswell write that there are two TTGL movie projects underway, one OVA and one music video compilation where the animators make shorts based on tracks from the Gurren Lagann OST. Aww yeah.

Pretty much fell in love with the anime after the first episode. I'm really not a mech-head at all but the way this anime used them in a way that it had this Megaman Legends vibe I loved all those years ago.This Anime will break your expectations and push it to new, unthinkable levels.

This is easily became my favorite Anime of all time. Definitely worth watching, its as Mathias put it so appropriately - Batshit insane mecha anime - Gurren Laggan kicks ass ladies and gentlemen, enjoy it! :P
