Added Chrome
and Replaced flashget with freedownload manger. Flashget has gone down hill these days.
Thank you. The amount of hassle I've had off of peers for using Chrome has been astounding.
Apart from a lack of add-ons and the fact you cant scroll by clicking the middle mouse button, it's amazing.

I just need something to burn regular DVDs for backing up files and such, not DVD video or anything.

imgburn is good but i doesn't have DVD movie or CD Movie creation capabilities. If you just need something to write files to CD or write som iso's then this is pretty much all you need.

POTP I need help in creating a new partition on my laptop drive. Is there any program I should use? Also what Linux distro would you recommend? I'm thinking of Ubuntu. Also, how much space would it need?

Can anyone recommend a program for re-encoding mp3 files? I generally re-encode all of mine to 128kbs because I can't tell the different between that and anything higher. (Saves iPod space that way)

Get rid of your shitty iPod bundles and get a decent 'phone for a change. If you're on a decent pair already you've got to be shitting me if you really can't hear the difference.

What should I be actually listening out for that's different?
Edit: Tried a few comparisons, the different between say 128 and 256 is minimal at best. As in, you have to be actively listening out for it. If someone puts a song on and says "Is this 128 or higher?" I'm not going to be able to tell.

Also, I've stumbled on a superb anti-spyware tool: SuperAntiSpyware. Despite the shady name, its a very good anti-spyware tool. For one thing, its THOROUGH. It checks EVERY single file on your system if you set it to, some of which pass completely under the radar of Ad-Aware and S&D. I highly recommend it.
