Well, I was bored, so I booted Photoshop and made some stuff. I didn't save the majority of it, but some got through. So, here's a couple to start things rolling:

The first one is nice. I like the border on it. However, I'm not sure if the colour of the background really suits it. The interlaced look is nice tho.

8.5/10 from me for that one.

P.S. Glad to see you on here. when did you move from ssf?

Too squarelike. Stretch them wider. Take CoLT's for example.

Otherwise quite nice. The borders appear too contrasting to me though, too 3D, but still cool, just not my type y'know?

Thanks to both of ya for the feedback. I'll make a thinner (shorter?) one tomorrow and see how that works out.

O yeah, and I joined back in June, though I thought it was last year some time. Maybe I made a profile and forgot about it... :P

I like em both. No complaints. Though I think the GoW one should be mirrored, just my personal opinion but I'd rather see the fade-off/clearness on the right, where the sig itself ends, as opposed to begins.

Thanks again. I suppose I will try to continue this pattern and get another two by tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

Ok, here they are. They're a couple of expiriments, so I'm not sure if they came out all that well.

I still find them a TAD large but nothing bad.

The first sig is awesomely cool
The second is nice but the bottom of the carrier looks odd and the drop shadow/thing is cut off at the bottom.

So it is =/. I had to cut it do to the pic being messed up. (You'd be surprised how few good pics of carriers there are on the web).
Here's another one that I made for myself:

I'd like it more if the entire Army logo were visible, I know its a style but still.

Could do with more to view as well, but not bad.

Like the others said, nicely mad Signatures LDM125.
I especially like the Nuke Symbol one.

It's good to see some artists showing off here!

1st 2 are good starts IMO, but not really my cuppa char. I like the C4D work in number 1, but the border is to deep and the lighting set to far away, try changing the depth to 15 which is my prefered emboss depth. But very good starts. I do especially like the effort on the vader border. Not easy, so well done.

The Gunner sig is simple and works very well. Although the border is on the large side I like this. The GoW sig is a considerable improvement in your skills. The cutoff works, to a degree and shows that you have some creative nouse. However the GoW emblem is too pixelated and the right hand side pattern is quite plain. I think the red patches cover up what appears to be good work underneath. However it is obvious that you have improved from the first two.

The Chess and aircraft carrier sigs are ok. Simple and effective, yes. But maybe too soo. Always remember that in art & design, "less is more" and I think you need to learn to cut back on border sizes. They are making your sigs too big. Try making one that is 400 x 130 with a maximum 3 px border. BTW nice effect on the horizontal chess piece.

The US Army sig is by far my favourite and would give this an 8.5/10. Less is more and here you have done a great job. Sigs don't need to be full or busy everytime and this works perfectly.

Your current sig is creative, but I am not sure on the bevel TBH. I can't see whether there is a pattern on it or whether you changed the gradient style. Either way there seems to be a ghosting in the middle that would be better off being removed. But you are certainly showing some good promise.
