Okay so I managed to watch it now and I have to say...crazy shit. I like the atmosphere created by these four. They're seriously scary and have interesting designs. What kind of jumped at me was their names:
Screaming Mantis, Laughing Octopus, Crying Wolf and Raging Raven.
In MGS1, we had enemies called
Psycho Mantis, Decoy Octopus, Sniper Wolf and Vulcan Raven.
Now, I'm not saying it's the same persons, that's impossible. But you have admit that the names do imply SOME sort of connection...

PS: My favourite is Raging Raven.

These new bosses are...an unexpected choise+they really are scary, I just hope things don't get to unreal, then again, this is a metal gear game

I also wonder if there'll be an actual Metal Gear here, since the Gekko-walkers seem to be an ordinary combat-unit in that time.
What about the nuke-launching monster-mech kind of Metal Gear?

there's probably will be a nuclear capable walking tank somewhere in the game, but don't expect it to be seen in trailers.

personally i don't really like the new bosses. it looks more like something from Zone of enders or beast wars rather then flesh, and blood bosses of previous metal gears.

I agree, I hope you'll only fight these 'things' in the last or second last boss battle, I am looking forward to some kind of urban sniper battle, or a 'hold your groud' kinda thing against a massive force of (normal) PMC soldiers, just like the tengu's in metal gear solid 2, only in a bigger area.

Have you already seen the MGO2 gameplay demo? It kinda suxxx that it's a stand alone game, would have been beter if it came with MGS4 itself :(

really? because with the puppets it looks kind funny. Though I predict that she'll have some sort of mind-raping ability like those two had in MGS 1 and 3

They wouldn't call them the Beauty and the Beast Unit if any or all of them were male, there all female!

Jep, it's a female exlusive unit IIRC, I'll admit that Raven isn't your typical girlname, but hey, you wouldn't call your son Solid Snake either , unless your totaly messed up...
