"There's only ONE color in the army. And that's GREEN!"
"Uh everything is brown... You know, desert and all."
"Shut up!"

Can't remember where I got that but it's true :P . I think those tanks are just base yellow brownish or green.

Hmm... I think replacement of color on texture will take no more than a few minutes...

P.S. 'Full' Abrams skin:

Both Abrams models look spectacular, however, I do prefer the newer one over the old one, it looks a little more realistic, they're both great, though, awesome work.

You can add both...normal and bump...

Normal for the lines and for the details and bump for the scratches of the metal and for the damages on the tank...:P

Thank you :)

make those details bigger, stronger, or you'll just not see them ingame.

normal mapping is a better version of bump mapping.
bump mapping have just on fixed light source, the details will direct always in the same direction. normal mapping dont has a fixed light source, it's variable and is imo the better technique.
and you can you add both? you have just one channel for bump or normal maps... and i prefer normal maps...

Of course I will do them stronger in final version... This was just expiriment - I learned how to use normal&bump mapping :D

It isn't possible to add both normal&bump maps, but may use embossed (in Photoshop) details like an easy graphical imitation of bump. But I can't see any sense in this.

The guy who mentioned this ^^ is right...But even if you will increase the level of normal maps, you will only make your model less smoother in general and again you wont see the details. I believe that you cant do otherwise. All these small details on the tanks wont be seen into the game. Except if you will zoom your camera to the maximum...
It is not a FPS game to see all the details. You will play with a camera 50 meters above the units... :P
But it is good you have made all these details. We show professional... ;) My models i showed to you, had also details even if i know that these wont be seen... :D

Ok. I will learn you a trick...look here...

a model of mine with ought normal maps.
Posted Image

with normal maps
Posted Image

and with normal maps and bump together...
Posted Image

How i did that?

Simple...

First open the material editor. Then choose the tab near the bump option...
Posted Image

After that, a tablet appears. Search for normal Bump...and click on it.
Posted Image

Once you do this, a new menu appears in the map editor.
in the red circle you place your normal maps.
in the blue you can place your bump maps
in the green circles it is the values were you can change how strong your effect will be...(usually make the bump lower than the normal map)
Posted Image

Now what this has to do with tanks you wonder...

Simple...

Here is the mammoth tank for C&C3 moding i made...
Posted Image

The same model with normal maps for the details and with the bump for the damages (the holes from the bullets)

Bump and normal maps (actually normal bump map) basically do the same, instead of using one normal and one bump map they both can be merged into one normal or one bump map. Normal maps are generally more "sharp" while bump maps appear more smoothly and natural.

However, TW only supports one normal map per shader. Bump maps arenĀ“t supported at all.

Well in that case ^^ you can merge the normal map with the bump in photoshop, if you need the details...
like some scratches on the metal, some holes from bullets and other...it is a good way IMO

No, these are diffferent vehicles for different purposes (IFV, Tank killer and NLOS-C), nothing of salvage.

I can see you've put a lot of effort into this mod Rot Front. This mod seems to be coming along rather nicely and at a decent enough pace. I'm looking forward to more of your models in the future  .

My best,

Thank you. Unfortunately, these weeks I hadn't any time to work on mod... But a little update is upcoming.

About FCS: Of course, it is different vehicles, but i dont know how to make them - as 'unique' buildable units, or like an overlord system (builds just 'naked' platform, which can be upgraded to IFV, tank or self-propelled artillery)
