P.S. CodeCat, that sounds like a really good idea. I support going to MSN support and nailing this little pecker to the floor.

I should also urge anyone who gets a PM by "Shockwave_Rocks" or any other member that looks like so or similar to delete it immediately and not click the link, as it contains many Shock Images (I didn't click, I just did a bit of research), and I urge you not to click as it could quite possibly download the trojan as well.

Please compare the use of apostrophes between the hacker and this guy fellow.
If that matters at all.
Evidence does seem to be mounting against either Guy or someone well versed in his mannerisms. Which, due to the nature of the internet, is likely to be Guy.
Quick edit: What's the IP on this PM spammer fellow? Proxy or what?

Restart your systems, see if that works. It might be a one session thing.
Then roll back to say yesterday, patch with all the latest security updates (One should stop this) and change your MSN passwords.
If it persists following Rollback, go into Msconfig and hunt down untrustworthy Services and Startup entries, and disable them. BE VERY AWARE OF NAMES WITH TYPOES OR ABBREVIATIONS! Google anything you don't recognize (Which will be quite a lot). I got a hijacker 2 years ago, called MNSMessenger.exe in the start up file.
That should get rid of most trojans, etc. If it persists beyond that, make a backup of word documents and videos, then wipe the rest and start anew. At the point where neither Spybot, AVG, and Msconfig can detect anything, there's probably something in the kernal, the legit windows stuff, or the boot sector.
