I hope it is portrayed in game somehow. Relic haven't exactly been as creative as they could have been with some of the stuff in 40k...

Guys look here you will find much information about the upcoming expansion (there are some screens also ) + the game was officialy announced by THQ.

Sweet. That means 2 confirmed new races. Dark Eldar and I suspect Tyranids, as about the only other race left is the Inquisition.

Dark Eldar buildings look awesome, too.

with regards to the tyranid rumour, I read a year or so ago that Relic felt that the DoW engine couldn't do 'Nids the justice they deserved - they were being saved for DoW2.  Don't you just hate dated engines? *grumble at Sage*
'Course they coulda changed their minds, but i doubt it.

On a side note, I didn't like DoW - it seemed to pathetic, too much about build orders and resources in a way that generals has never been for me.  Mebby it's just because I played it online more...  Anywho, a third expansion pack?  what is this, the Sims?!  Seems to me that Relic is milking this franchise just a little bit too much - and how many races can they add before the balance copter crashes?  Given a choice I would say bring on DoW2 - a new game engine, hopefully better/ more realistic game play... I'll thinking DoW: Company of Heroes here - they have similar game styles, and to me they would be almost a match made in heaven.  So I'll keep deaming then, eh?

i like expansions pack better than 2º parts, they are cheaper, cost to the company less and come faster, and you think this is miking the franchise? then what is square-enix doing to ff7?

Far as antiair units, IG get the Cobra... Basically a tank with 4 autocannons. Looks pwnage.

If it is the Tyranids, even though they mentioned it just wouldnt be possible; just pray, I will definetly go buy it. Seriously, how epic would that be

They did say the current engine wouldn't do Tyranids justice, but since they're adding flying units (and they're confirmed + screens) then Relic/Iron Lore are modifying the engine so... you get my drift.

They'd be stupid not to do 'nids. It would also pretty much make the game complete (Every major 40k race).

I mean, imagine an 8 player lan with everyone a different side... So much pwnage!

hmmm maybe they shud increase the number of max players....i mean in WC3 there was 12 players max limit

anyway....flying units?! ok now thats a bit ridicilous IMHO as that spoils the fun of the game
