Yeah, I know, another mod project, but this is my personal mod, and I have finally decided to go public on it. (I originally intended to keep it all in house, or not reveal it till completion). I would like to present Command and Conquer Generals: The World At War. A semi-expansion/ Total Conversion for Zero-Hour, It will keep several of the same units, but many of the models will be changed, and So will the Generals. It will also add five new factions, that will be able to work with AI (I am removing the Generals and changing the system, you'll see). They are:

Great Britain: Specializing in heavily armored attack forces. Offensive Attrition Army, with high survivability. (Utilizes Sonic Technology)

France: Turtler Army. Has excellent defenses, holds out against its enemies for long periods of time, slowing wearing down their enemies defenses. (Utilizes Shielding Technology).

Russia: A mix between China and the United States, utilizes mass numbers of armored tanks, and high tech weaponry. is a steamroller army. Utilizes Tesla Electricity (Yeah, stereotypical) and LQN (Liquid Nitrogen, Not practical, but cool) Technologies.

Germany: A rusher. Rushes into battle with powerful tanks and helicopters. Utilizes Railgun Technology.

and SEATO (Southeast Asian Treaty Organization): A tactical army, that is difficult to master requires precise attacks utilizing powerful, high-tech weaponry. Utilizes Plasma Technology.

Each side will have five Generals, but, it's a new system which i will now explain:
Instead of having the different generals to select from, or from having to select a different general, I have decided to create an escalation system. The different Generals will be brought in via an upgrade purchased at the Strategy Center, and you will be able to purchase and call in all of the generals. Every side will have five generals, and the normal upgrades that are purchased will be attached to these generals, this will make it so that you can eventually have all of the units available to each side, and get continuously stronger as the battle progresses. This is a different change from any previous systems, but I hope that it will work.

Here is some renders, that are complete, they just need skinning (I'm trying to learn, but it ain't exactly easy)

Posted Image
The United States Bradley IFV, can carry six infrantry, and is armed with a autocannon and powerful missiles.

Posted Image
United States Preacher support Artillery, Will provide fast long-range support of armored columns.

Posted Image
Russian Tesla Tank. Is a powerful anti-infratry and anti-tank weapon.

Posted Image
Russian Demolisher Tank. The main battle tank for the Russian Army, is very fast and powerful.

Posted Image
GLA Sandstorm Super Heavy Tank. The GLA's big, bad tank that can take on any enemy threat, will receive some modifications to the model.

Currently I am looking for skinners and anyone with some coding experience, also, I could use some modelers as well. This is an open mod, so anyone can help out if they want, there are no tryouts, and not permanent team, just anyone that wants to help out, and get in on something. I kind of would like to work with people that are new to modding, so that they can get the chance to be apart of something too. Because I know how it feels to be a noobie. So anyone that would like to help out with the mod, just PM me, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Sincerly, Noswar

PS: I really hope that everyone can get a piece of this mod, and be able to put in their own input, and support! Hope that many of you will want to join!

SEATO is actually a real thing, it exists, it's similar to NATO, but is in Southeast Asia. It does involve the United States, too. And as for the GLA tank, it needs some work done on it, I already intend to work on it some more.

UPDATE TIME!!!!!
Well, progress is slow, to say the least, but I have some new units, one of them ,you have already seen, I just put it in a better render. Note: none are skinned, I'm working on that.

Posted Image
The US M122 Preacher Self-Propelled Artillery is the most advanced artillery to date. Although lacking an armored shell, this unit was chosen because of its advanced technology. The Preacher has a highly accurate gun, that links into satelite uplinks, that allow it to pinpoint any target in range. It also has a significantly high rate of fire, approxiamately 15 shells per minute can be fired off. The unit is also easy to maintain and is cheap to produce. It also only requires a crew of one to use the, tank allowing for maximum usefulness in any field.

Posted Image
The US M1A7 "Ironside" Abrams Heavy Assault Tank is the latest variant of the most sucessful tank in history. The Ironside is the most advanced tank in the world, with superior firepower and speed, it can outclass any tank on the field. Its powerful main gun is unmatched anywhere else in the world, and the tanks powerful missiles can target both ground and air targets. When it comes to needed firepower, the Ironside is the US's first choice.

Posted Image
The M3 Schwarzkopf Main Battle Tank, is the primary tank in the service of the US army, it is fast and has a 105mm rifled barrel, capable of delivering ordanance at great distances. It is an upgrade from the now-dead Crusader line, and has proven to be a perfect replacement for the former tank. The Schwazkopf is both fast, and well-armored, while maintaining low cost.

Well, that's the end of my update. Anyways, I am still looking for anyone that may be interested in helping me, in fact, I could really use some help, so, if you're interested, please PM me or just post her, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Update time.

Posted Image

The M34 "Steel" Titan is the replacement for the sucessful Paladin tank, it. unlike its predecessor is armed with dual cannons as well as its point-defense laser.

Posted Image

The Firewolf replaces the Preacher.

Posted Image

The M78 Phalanx is the most advanced Anti-aircraft gun in the world. It can fire up to 10,000 rounds a minute.

Posted Image

The Rough Rider is the United States answer to infrantry and is able to transport eight troopers.

Posted Image

And I updated the M1A7.

That's it for today.

Modelling is too blocky and amateurish (reminds me of myself some good while back) and the lack of textures is frustrating. THe darkness of a good number of the renders and their lack of anything fancy really detracts from the model.

I am working on getting some skins, but photoshop is not my friend, yet. I hope to get some soon. And as for the rendering, I'm justing taking screenprints from RenX and pasting them in photoshop, if anyone could tell me how, or what I can get to improve that, it would be greatly appreciated, but as for now, that's all I got. Currently, I am adjusting my focus to skinning, so hopefully, something will come up soon.

Yes, it's fictional, but so are all games. I am working on a storyline, that is mostly ready, and I should have it up soon, but I'm getting all the kinks out of it. I'm a professional writer, so I take my time.

So, for all those out there anxious for stuff, :chillpill1: Teehe, sorry, no offense intended, I just thought it was funny.

And all your comments are helpful, and are helping me to improve my own work, so, thank you. And, if anyone still wants to physically help, they are more than welcome, yeah that's moochful, I know.
