I just find out that the ZOCOM logo is a copy from an old TS concept.

The two of them looks the seam. (Except the color and the lightning on the bird's leg)

Actually, if you remember the Nod mission with the Chamelion Spy, you'd see that it passed the test with flying colors. It was however proven weak against the Nod Banshees, but those aren't arround anymore. Nod decided to go back to conventional bombs over plasma cannons. -_-

I remember that mission well  .
I thinks that EA's idea about "Nod decided to go back to conventional bombs over plasma cannons. " and gave them to Scrin.

I hope that one of the new Nod sides will be getting Banshees. It could be very well different from the Stormrider, limited ammo but more powerful shots that do more damage to moving armour-targets. Stormriders aren't as awesome for taking on tanks but they are better at killing infantry and planes so both units would have a purpose.

way should they have different purpose if they are in diferent sides? or you mean the venom? :P

No he is talking about the Banshee getting to one of NOD sub faction  ...
And I do miss the Banshee as well :P

Rayburn's Photo Rayburn 27 Nov 2007

Let me put it this way: The TS-Banshee is basically a Nod-made version of the TW-Stormrider used by the Scrin. It was a cool plane in TS an I would love to see it again in KW used by some Nod-faction. It would be different from the Stormrider in the following aspects, making it more than just a rip-off.

Banshee
- Stealthed
- Needs to reload
- Each "ammo-point" (up to 4, maybe 6) represents a plasma burst
- Very effective against vehicles/tanks, accurate against moving targets

Stormrider
- No need to reload
- Can fire backwards
- Less damage per shot
- Not as powerful against tanks
- Good against infantry and aircraft
- Powered up by ion-storms

i get that i was only question why a Nod unit and a Scrin unit should have diferent purposes

actually, your idea sounds like a rip-off of the orca with a Stormrider look :P

the banshee wasnt stealth so if we want a similar unit it should not be stealth, a little more expensive than other aircraft of his category and should be effective vs infantry and units, especially vs heavy units

Red's Photo Red 28 Nov 2007

Maybe the banshee could replace vertigo bomber in one of the NOD subfaction ....

I am starting to be interested in this game once again ;) < .I like the ZOCOM logo but i think Kane"s Marked wont be a problem against an enemy who uses stealth detectors in wide-scaled numbers.I like the Black Hands subfaction-they will definetely look cool but direct assault for Nod isnt a good option.Dont know really but from what i saw till now i got interested :) .

Why I like in that order:

Reavers-Big Vehicles/Big Guns
Talons-Big Vehicles
ZOCOM-Special/High-Tech Guns

This thread reminds me of the time I used to think Bungie ripped Halo's banshee from TS.
