Finished up the smoothing, fixed some minor details, optimized, added unseen TV missile rack underneath cockpit

and it is done at about 4.8k tris :)

Yeah, that level of Detail is the usual for BF2142. Well, this is a bit more than standard BF2142 units.

In case anybody has played Star Wars: Empire at War and its expansion, Forces of Corruption, I've been replacing a lot of the particles used in there because the standard ones just plain suck.

Here's an example of the old explosions, which are all a single animated plane with some smoke and debris:

Picture number 6 with the big explosion is very good. However picture number 3 you might want to rework. The explosion seems pretty bland. and the smoke trail from the shot down ship needs more colour variation.

Oh now that's very nice. I take it EAW can actually support all these better-quality-than-original models and skins etc. without gameplay/speed limitations, unlike SAGE?
Also, who is the War Droid for? Republic or Sith? As they were used by both.

EaW can support quite a few polies, especially when you take out the majority of vehicles. AoSW is a pretty infantry oriented mod, so the team decided to make them look better than walking boxes :dope:

The Wardroid is for both factions, available through a Czerka Arms Dealer.

The area in front of the cockpit is a bit flat, but other than that it's amazing. What's not to like?
