Well heres more work on my frigate
since it seams most people have no idea what it is maby I should explain, its basically the light craft of the unsc from halo, the top deck like part is what is called a "mac gun" witch is litteraly magnetic exceleration cannon, it basically launches 700 ton tungston rods at ships at nearly ten times the speed of sound all though it is the size of say a modern day battleship its actually the smallest ship in the unsc fleets.

Hmm thought I would revive this thread, seeing pavs awsome M93R :bestpost: reminded me of something I made ages ago for someone, I honestly cant remember what it was for but its an HK416, basically H&K's touch up to the m-4s flaws

If I recall, Colt tried to sue H&K for naming their weapon akin to a Colt product.

Colt sued when it was called the HKM4, that's why it's the 416, IIRC. On the model:

Pistol grip is really blocky, should be rounder and thinner.
STANAG just looks off, try looking at more reference pictures on that.
Dust cover extrudes to cover the bolt, doesn't intrude.
Stock is too blocky, and too thick on the bottom.
Flash hider should be a birdcage.
I *believe* that your sights are kinda off, but I'm not really sure on that.
Magwell doesn't have that line dividing it in half, thats were the HK trades are.
Magazine release is off. Look at more reference, I think.

I think that's it... :P

Those rails shouldnt be that rounded however, theyre rather blocky iirc

Yeah, RIS's are very blocky. Again, reference pictures will do you wonders. That's one I shouldn't have missed, too :P.

Better, definitely. Not quite there yet :P.

Ok:

Rails are flat on the top, not rounded, with sharp edges on either side.
Pistol grip is still too big and bulky.
That front sight wouldn't be able to flip down, so somethings wrong, but I'm not entirely sure what.
Area were buttpad meets the rest of stock should be smooth.
Reciever is too thick, as is the magazine, which still looks off.
Upper and lower recievers need to be more clearly defined.
Magazine release is still totally off.
Bottom of stock is too blocky.
Forward assist doesn't look anything like the real thing...
Charging handle is too close to the stock, should extrude from the upper.

Lots of little things, but it's looking good.
