Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 6.5/10
Yeah. So the movie is basically all about explosions and pieces of metal flying. The move once again suffers from a weak plot and even worse character development. Once again, Shia LaBoeuf is a decent lead character but still fairly bland. Optimus Prime is inject with a serious dose of awesome and is probably the only major improvement over the last one. More transformer fight scenes means it's enjoyable. Megan Fox is quite the looker but I didn't need to see her running around all the time. And still too many bloody characters who have a "Kthxbi" like that Sideswipe character. The humor was excessively childish yet often full of swears and presented often at the wrong moments. Finally product placement is sickening. Overall better than the first movie but not much better.

Transformers-Revenge of the Fallen : 7/10 I'll explain why I decreased 3 points ( May contain spoilers )
1 for too much unnecessary sexual content, come on we see these dogs screwing a few times over, childish
1 for that Old Robot, you know, the one which uses that walking staff, again childish
1 for childish humour ' overall '
First one's story was a lot better but this one worth watching if you like high quality animations and explosions shit, it was fun actually minus the story.

All star cast, great story, great overall art design and just plain fun. Story was a bit hard to follow at the beginning, but overall it's a great comic book movie with a really nice comic book feel, I'm still not sure if half the backgrounds were real or animated.

Gone Baby Gone.
Well, if ever there was a morally ambiguous movie that made you wonder 'Where is home', then this was it. The story is very simple on paper: two private detectives work with police to find a little girl that was abducted from her mother. In the film, it is a hell of a lot more complicated. There are deaths, raids, secret deals, corruption, and all sorts. It takes a while for the film to really come together - the first half of which feels mediocre and sub-par. However, in the second half it picks itself up with admirable aplomb, and really gets into what it truly is - a massive question mark over society and one of the best noir films in a long time. Casey Affleck's acting is good, both raw and emotional, but he fails to stray too far from the beaten path, and the script asks very little other than 'Look worn, beaten, and sometimes scared'. And half the time he mumbles badly, losing some of his lines to a sound that is similar to having your lips sewn shut. Michelle Monaghan's role is far better, and shows what a stunning actress she is becoming, with both versatility and skill in her role as the partner (both business and relationship) to Affleck, being his person to bounce morally questionable judgments off of. Ben Affleck also makes his directorial debut in this film, and while there are a few rookie mistakes (too many pan shots/scenery shots), he does a fine job of bring the raw emotion to the film. All in all, a very solid movie. From here: spoilers start, but include the best bit of the film:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
7.5/10
- Optimus Prime was awesome, the forest beatdown was pretty epic, but didn't belong halfway in the film
- Only Mudflap and Skids (the racist twins) got any kind of character development, pretty much all the new Autobots just turned up without any real explanation, especially Jolt, who randomly turns up around the middle of the film
- The sappy teenage romance scenes were a bit much
- Megan Fox seemed less attractive
- The final battle scene was way too long and excessive, the time they put into that could've gone towards developing all the new characters instead. Optimus Prime's final beatdown was still pretty cool though
- "GIVE ME YOUR FACE!"
- Humour wasn't as clever or subtle as the last film
- Plot holes aplenty
I'l agree with Scope, the only real improvement was Optimus Prime's enhanced awesomeness

Transformers: The Movie
8/10
Great use of a larger budget, better animation and generally more epic all round. It's really sad seeing Optimus Prime die even though I knew it was coming... a lot of brutal autobot deaths in this one. I'm undecided if I like Galvatron or not. A really good way to pave into season 3 of the series.

The Hangover - 7.5/10
Ok so this movie is about a bunch of guys who go to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend's bachelor night. However things go horribly wrong one night when they find the groom missing and their memories of what happened non-existant. Let's say the complete randomness of the movie is both its best and worst part. The movie has no true direction though I guess a regression in storyline lets you piece it together. Also the characters were all hilarious and thankfully there were no dick jokes. But surely, I believe that going through the movie again will reveal more childishness. I guess the movie was just anti-climactic or something.

Zeitgeist - 9/10
By Americans, for Americans.
A conspiracy theory movie somewhat along the lines of Michael Moore but different. I love this kind of movie for the sheer amount of arguments it provides in certain discussions while widening one's view on society. Even if you don't believe all they say, it's still a good movie to keep you on your toes more.
EDIT: I should add a caveat; if you're American and pride yourself on your country, you'll probably not watch it all in the first place, because the movie is somewhat "in your face".

Ice Age 3.
I have loved all the ice age movies and this one is no different. Ice Age seems to be one of the unique kind of movies whose humour appeals to all, not just a select age group. As always the imagination and ideas behind the movie are fantastic and Simon Pegg is excellently cast as some slightly mad british explorer type.

Mirrors - 8/10
Horror movie about, guess what, mirrors. Ever have that feeling things appear differently in mirrors? This movie builds on this. I don't want to spoil too much but I guess you can figure out a thing or two about the movie. As for what I think of it: it's great! Storyline is not bad for a horror movie though I think they could've built on it even more. Acting is not bad either, and most scenes are executed very well. Mirrors is often subtle, sometimes not at all, but any horror fans should definitely see this, and I highly recommend it to thriller fans as well. After all, as we all know:

They Live (1988) by John Carpenter. 8/10
Part joke, part scifi, part horror, part action, part critical look at the social and economic structure of the USA.
Aliens and traitor humans control the poor and less-educated with subliminal messages until two construction workers decide to fight back.
It's a blast, a real cult film, if you like that stuff. Don't watch it in a serious mood, watch it with friends with a couple of beers or something.

Needful Things - 7,5/10
A movie adaptation of a book by Stephen King about a new, very special antique store that comes to Castle Rock. Not gonna spoil anymore about it. Compared to the book, the movie is considerably accelerated in its plot progress which I somewhat frown upon since making the plot last longer would allow the public to savour it much more. Nonetheless, the acting - that is, the time Max von Sydow is on-screen, since he pretty much makes the movie - is quite convincing. In addition, the story, typically King, is very good
. Very much recommended for all thriller fans, horror fans will like it a lot too (relative lack of gore notwithstanding - the movie doesn't need it) and just about anyone who likes an interesting plot.

Great Beatles movie. Kind of a precursor to 1960s Batman, this movie is just INSANE. Basic premise is that Ringo got sent the sacrificial ring of some made up cult and it's stuck to his hand, and the whole movie is this cult trying to spill red paint on him (As per tradition) so they can sacrifice him.

The Cottage - 8/10
A black comedy/horror. After a kidnapping goes wrong, the kidnappers and victim end up on a farm yard where a deformed farmer starts hunting them down and hacking off various body parts. This film uses an excellent mixture of gruesome horror and hilarious idiocy. If you like The League of Gentlemen or Psychoville, chances are you will like this, as long as you don't mind all the blood that is. This film also stars Reece Shearsmith from TLoG/Psychoville.
EDIT: One thing that I didn't like about this film, especially at the start, was the music. It was upbeat, almost stereotypical, old skool comedy music... and I guess it was supposed to be a contrast or ironic or something, but it just didn't fit IMO.

Man Bites Dog 10/10.
Belgian Black Comedy, A film crew follow a charming fella named Ben on his daily bussiness...which is serial killing. His jokes, random monologues and the absurdity of the situations makes it so ridiculesly funny. Some scenes are memorable (A drunken Ben+Crew walks around in the streets and sing the "Cinema" song) some are grousome (Home invasion, with murder of child, and a graphic rape scene+aftermath) and some are brilliant (Ben and the crew discusses where to eat, which is so daily-life that it creates a great contrast to the rest of the movie).
Not for the faint of heart. But brilliant non-theless

hmmm, ill just do the last 3 i saw
Transformers 2: 3/10
Absolute shit compared to the first one, the humor was painful to watch, story was garbage, but the action scenes were pretty good
Harry Potter 6: 6/10
Pretty entertaining, but too long, and somehow did not flesh out the plot points enough, so if you hadnt read the book, it would be hard to tell the significance of anything (biggest example is "IM THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE!"). I think the book is just too long to be made into a movie
Moon: 9/10

Inglorious Bastards 8/10
Tarantino's 3rd best movie but a country mile.
Some of the best characters I've seen in months. Voice acting and excellent subtitles (I enjoyed it since I could translate chunks of the dialogue anyway). The SS Colonel was menacing beyond anything I expected, and when he wasn't he was fantastically amusing. I probably shouldn't admit to laughing out loud to the last 20 mins and the
