Little Miss Sunshine 9/10
Just recently got around to seeing this this movie with my family over the break.. and I was surprised at how good it was. Amazingly funny, has a variety of characters within the movie itself, Steve Carrell plays a completely different role than his normal (still funny, but more in a serious sense as opposed to a retard sense), and indeed a very heart warming movie. One thing about it though, is that once you've seen the all the surprises and plot twists that are tossd at you, I imagine a second go at the movie would be much more dull, though I have yet to test this.

Fulltime Killer 8.5/10
A fairly old assassin vs assassin chinese/japanese made movie, but indeed worth checking out if you like that genre... stars Andy Lau, Takashi Sorimachi, and Simon Yam. The story's of course been done before, but its directed by both Johnny To and Ka-Fai Wai so the action and non-action scenes are both well done. The characters make reference to video games and other movies like Metal Slug, Desperado and such, so the dialogue is worth listening to. Originally, the characters speak in English, Chinese and Japanese, so its supposed to be a fairly international style clash of the titans. Check it out if you like East Asian gunslinger movies

Lethal Weapon 2
8 out of 10
I actually like all the LW-movies but this one is the weakest. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, but the others were just...well, better. Can't really describe why but IMO they were. 3 is my clear favourite, closely followed by 4.

Ghost Rider: Better than the review say it is!

Was actually a really fun movie. Not the next Spiderman, sure, but was good nonetheless.

(Only problem IMO was final form Blackheart, quite a letdown IMO.)

Go see it if you're in the mood for some comic book cheesiness, with a Skullheaded dude being completely uber.

8/10

So yesterday, three of my mates and I had a movie-day and we watched the following things:

Godzilla Vs. Hedorah - 2.5/10
Cheap effects, crappy acting and a shallow story...Therefore, comedy-gold. The fact that the score is above zero solely originates from the film being ridiculously hilarious (or hilariously ridiculous).
Godzilla gets to fight some funky smog-monster whic hwas created by the pollution of the sea, so beware, this film has a badly hidden political message. The monster itself looks like a mattress on legs wrapped in a ghillie suit. Oh, and it can turn into a flying saucer...Funny shit.

Reeker - 8/10
Starts like the typical crappy-as-hell teeny-horror but ends with a twist. A group of students is on the way to a rave-party in the middle of a desert. When their car breaks down, they decide to spend the night at a diner but the place is totally empty. Soonly, a mysterious thingy slaughters one poor bastard after the other and when the last remaining two manage to escape, they make a frightening discovery...

The Crazy88 combat-scene from Kill Bill Vol.1, Japanese cut - 10/10
I recall having seen so much blood during the beach-scene in Saving Private Ryan, but there, the blood was shared between thousands. Here, the same amount of blood was shed by 88 Yakuzas. Some really fancy sword-action and lots of bloody limps.

Cube Zero 10/10
I've been told that this wasn't the first cube-film but this one was good nonetheless. Criminals get the chance to choose: Death or a death-march through a labyrinth of cubes. Some contain deadly traps such as acid-sprayers, flamethrowers, nitrogen-sprayers, soundblasters or spikes. If they manage to reach the end, chances are that they may get out into freedom. The film, however being a tad predictable, was very good. One was compelled to feel with the peeps inside this death-maze at times...

The original Cube is much better. You must watch it.

haha, I love that movie.. one the better late-disney movies out there, but older disney was MUCH MUCH better..

Children of Men - 9/10
I dunno why this movie was so appealing to me.. It was much more violent than I thought, yet it really wasn't all that violent.. The main character (Clive Owen) never actually picks up or fires a gun, yet he's almost completely surrounded by violence throughout the movie. I love the premise for the movie: 50 years from now, women become infertile.. the youngest existing person is 18 years and some odd months, and it begins with his celebrity's death... This movie also has some pretty damn good camera work to it, in which the camera works really makes you feel like you're there... Don't know what else to say about it, besides that I liked the movie quite a bit... If you've seen the movie yourself, then you'll agree with me when I say, "I just want to kick open a car door into someone standing next to my ride!!"

Departed - 9/10
I like the Chinese, Internal Affairs (Mou Gaan dou) version better, but I'm probably biased... being yellow skinned and all~~ But still, this movie is amazing in itself. I'm not normally a big fan of Leonardo Dicaprio, but he's a pretty good actor and he does a helluva job here... The same can be sid with the entire cast... Matt Damon (he's a bad guy this time around), Mark Walberg (he plays such an awesome Dick), uhh.. one of those baldwins... i think... eh.. good movie.. not as much as action or violenceas you might, and its definetly a long movie, but i would stil recommend this movie, as that it builds up on the suspnse...

Jurassic Park 2 - The Lost World *** 9/10 ***
Just like I like part 1 a lot, I like this one. It's a simple yet entertaining flick to sit down and watch without having to pay too much attention. Should have been the last JP though since part 3 sucked major ass IMO.

Garden State

Subtle, hilarious, drama and comedy. This movie is good for you. Zach Braff is a great actor, even if he's so mello-dramatic on (still a good show) Scrubs. I highly suggest this movie. Plot direction is just awesome. Great shots all throughout.

9/10
