Blades of Glory 8/10

Pretty funny if you like adult humor. I'm not very good at reviewing movies without giving it away, so thats all I have to say... >_>

Next - 8/10

This movie really surprised me. It's probably my third or fourth favorite movie.

For those of you that don't know what it's about it, the storyline is basically is a guy who can see two minutes into the future. He gets involved in trying to stop a nuclear weapon go off in whatever city he lives in. The way he is able to fight is just amazing and I strongly recommend you see this if you like Nicholas Cage. The only true thing that made it drop a couple of points was the ending, it should've stayed as it was.

And if that isn't enough, Jessica Biel is in it.

If Nicholas Cage could see two minutes into the future, he could theorectically see 20,000 years into the future by...

Seeing what he will see himself see himself see himself see... in the future two minutes from now.

Spider-man: 9/10.
Brilliant movie, quite true to the comic books.

Spider-man 2: 8/10.
Still good, but the first was better.

Reign Of Fire 8/10
A nice film. Not a blockbuster but okay overall. I like the design of the dragons and the fact that it's not another "the world is fucked, we have to save it"-film with patriotic Americans saving the day.

Spider Man 3 8/10

Very nice movie :dope: Has lots of action and the effects are incredible. My only complaint is that they crammed too much stuff in one movie which made it seem short.

Star Wars Episode 2 - 6.5 / 10
Worst of all Sar Wars film, full of shame. Too much chit chat, too little action. Too much rubbish romance, too little suspense.
Not even the final 30 minutes where the clones rush the droids can't save it. They're the best bits of the entire film.

Had a movie-day with my mates yesterday (hence me absence)

The Marine 3/10
Hell, that film was pathetic. Loaded with all sorts of clishés and the story was entirely predictable. Dumb and shallow characters and a total lack of suspense whilst the film was way too long. Points for some action scenes and unvoluntarily funny things.

3 episodes of Hellsing 10/10
Never been particularly into anime but this was cool. Well made and very stylish, wish we could have watched more of them but one of my mates lacked the tolerance for the new stuff. Not bad at all!

Curse Of The Golden Flower 4/10
3/4 of it bored me so much that I played Call Of Duty with my friend in the meantime...saw a bit of the ending when there is a huge battle with some sophisticated moves but that didn't save it for me...

300 10/10
Really cool. Sure, story isn't too complicated but does this really matter here? Great style, great visuals, a great film overall. THIS IS AWESOOOME!

Eragon 6/10
Meh...wasn't that good. Basically a rip off from all sorts of famous fantasy films and the way the story was told, it was really predictable. Halfway through the film, we all decided that it isn't THAT interesting, so we started taking the piss out ouf it...

Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End.

9/10.

Ship battles were absolutely awesome, several very humorous parts and best of all, Keith Richards cameo appearance. The only downside was that it was a bit weird.

I still recommend this as a must watch, although you MUST have seen Number 2 otherwise you won't get half of it.

Hotel Rwanda

10/10

Awesome flick. Shows some of the shit that goes down in Africa that falls on deaf Western ears until someones starts screaming. Gets bonus point for being a true story.

Airforce One 8/10

I was really surprised by this movie. Then again, it does have Harrison Ford in it. Anyway, I'm not sure what year it came out in, but it's a good movie all around. The only downside was the scenes where you know exactly what was going to happen and they took way too long to actually happen. Otherwise, some of the explosions where awesome for whatever year it was made (definitely before 2002.)

Not a film I'd kill for but certainly not bad at all. The ending was sad though...
