The Terminal: 9/10 I do love watching this film, it really is one of the best rom coms I've seen in a long while.

T2: 10/10 If you don't like Terminator 2, there is probably something wrong with you, it's a masterpiece with special effects that don't look aged yet, and some of the best acting you'll find in any Arnie film.

That isn't saying much. :P Especially when you compare it say, Kindergarden Cop or Eraser etc.

The Dark Knight - 10/10
Overwhelmingly positive critiques usually set off my scepticism-alert but this time, the film actually deserved the universal praise.
The best film I've seen in months; lots of famous faces, good acting, technically impressive, overall a job well done.

QFTW!

I might add: It's sad, that Heath Ledger died, because I sure, no one will in near future dare to play the joker after Heath played him that good.

Land of the Dead -

Another generic zombie horror movie with over the top gore. It was so predictable I was saying what was going to happen before it happened. I really don't get the point in horror movies like this, its just mindless violence. If your wondering why I was watching it, I was at a friends..

A oldie comedy (late sixties). A must watch.

The Dark Knight - for the fourth time (yes!!) T
The only movie I ever watched 4 times in the cinema, save Starwars Episode III, that certainly says something about it
Well, what else can I say, I wish Heath Ledger hadn't died, but I suppose it's good because it gets rid of potential Joker recycling, though I really have no idea what they could do as a sequel.
Definitively deserves 10/10, best movie I've seen in ages and best movie of the film (won't change either I think)

Wanted
Well this movie was so utterly totally completely unrealistic, I really shouldn't like it. But I do. The absolutely insane stunts, bending bullets and great humor more than make up for the unreality of the film, just remember to forget any laws of physics and common sense and the movie's good fun.
7/10, one of the years better films, for sure.

Disaster Movie 0/10

Ok, before I say anything else, no I didn't pay to see this movie. I watched it on youtube just to see if it was as bad as everyone was saying it was.

And well... yeah, it really is. Less of a movie than an extended series of completely unrelated events and 'jokes'. I say jokes, they're really just random references to movies. Then, extend those unfunny jokes to about 3 mins apiece. One scene was no more than "Look, it's Iron Man!" *Iron man gets crushed* "Look, it's Hellboy!" *Hellboy gets knocked over and walks off* "Look it's the hulk!" *Hulk's pants rip and he gets hit by a cow*.

Seriously, lock the fools who made this movie away. I can honestly see why everyone hates this movie so much.

Green Street Hooligans: 9/10

Best football movie ever (at least football firm movie to be exact). Everything they do is quite amusing (I especially liked the scene at the train station). It would a 10/10 if it wasnt for that idiot Elijah Wood who ruined the whole movie with his lame ass acting and appearance

Black hawk down 8/10
Good movie, somehow really made me think of CoD 4 as a bonus. Pity it was only about one thing happening though, that somehow made the movie... shortish.

Rounders 9/10
Must've been the hundredth time I've seen it but still a cult classic for the poker fans among us.

Big Trouble in Little China 8/10
Rather chaotic and slightly cheesy, but nothing beats Lo-Pan of course :D .

A Clockwork Orange 7/10
What the fuck.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - 6.5/10
The animation was excellent, the story had an undeniable (and excellent) Star Wars feel, the jokes were mostly funny and the music seemed fitting for the style. It was, however, an extended TV episode, and it shows. The start in particular was very weak; while the Saturday-afternoon serial feel would have worked nicely for a TV program, combined with the lack of John Williams' integral opening score and the 20th Century Fox Logo, in a movie, it left you wondering whether it had actually started. It just didn't feel all there for a while. It had an excellent 'war film' feel to it - the environment, troops etc. were all very well realised, with much more authenticity and depth than the live-action prequels - but also an interesting duality given the level of kids' humour and general aspects designed to appeal to a 7-14 age group. Voice acting varied; Obi-Wan was voiced very well, Ahsoka's role was carried off nicely and Asaajj Ventress was genuinely threatening, but Anakin and Palpatine came across as rather lacking in a few areas. Also the extremely stylised nature of the characters didn't fit very well with the extremely realistic vehicle, ship and environment portrayal, though you got used to it after a while. All in all I was not at all sorry to have seen it, but really while a good introduction of the TV series to the world a movie shouldn't be made as effectively an afterthought, and it showed in a few areas.

Tropic Thunder

-edit-Minor Spoilers

Overall 8/10

Plot 7/10 Well the plot was... go see it

Acting/Actors 9/10 Very well done, I have no idea how Ben Stiller got so many good actors to do the ridiculus things they do in this film. After saying that, the acting was quite good.

SFX: 9.5/10 Lots of explosions always fun to see something go BOOM!

LOL factor: 7.5/10 Ok I laughed, but at times it was a tad forced and there were some great catch-lines wich I may use in my writtings.

Best line IMHO: Enemy Leader "What do you farm popy or rice?" To the American Sgt.(Disguised) "I'm a lead farmer Mother Fucker!" Before letting loose with his crops :P

But also one of the best movies ever made. Kubrick was certainly in a class of his own. A Clockwork Orange will no doubt be his most famous and infamous. Although I prefer Full Metal Jacket.

^ You, my man, definitely need to watch FMJ.

Also, Sniper 1, 2 and 3: all 6,5/10

Of course it's great to watch all the delicious sniper rifles and reticles but the movies are all extremely monotonous and you watch people peering at people through scopes so often and for so long that the novelty wears off hard eventually. If I weren't a fan of sniping or weapons I'd probably not enjoy these movies at all, because there is no variety in the movies.

No, I don't. :P

@ Thread:
Last weekend, I did a DVD marathon of meself. Here are the ditty:
1. Sum of All Fears. Too bad it drifted from the novel.
8/10

2. Band of Brothers (yes it is not a movie, but I watched it anyway). The kicker parts of the series:
a. "Easy Company has a tradition of getting shot in the ass."- Guarnere
b. "And this guy (points to George Luz), is a lucky bastard. Never been shot!"- Guarnere
c. "It gets one to know one."-George Luz, as a reply to Guarnere said earlier
d. (the kicker of all) "The only virgin I know is the Virgin Mary!"-Guarnere
10/10

3. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (can't get enough of the dark theme)
9/10

4. AI: Artificial Intelligence (How 'bout that? A robot is more humane than a human itself.)
10/10

5. Mr. Bean's Holiday (need I say more?)
10/10

Ha ha. That was Buck Compton, a bullet piercing his left cheek, then penetrating out to the right sideways. |8

Shoot Em Up - Clive Owen, Paul Gimanti and Monica Bellucci. 5/10 Rather poor rip off of Sin Cities tbh. Some rather heavily unrealistic moments that make you think WTF rather than oh cool.

IDK why but for some odd reason i saw Eddy Murphy on the teli whole day....im gonna rate 3 of em:

Beverly Hills Cop 2: 8/10

This movie really can combine comedy and action and still make it look good. Axel FTW!!!

48 Hours: 7/10

A good movie IMO. Though the action couldve been better and the "humor" wasnt that good

Another 48 Hours: 7/10

Same deal as before. Altough this one had more humour in it (James Brown lol)
