An odd style represented by the white overlays.
Also, the Gradient from Purple to Red is clever, highlighting the blood splatter.
Simple, but well done.

It all is a big mess but simple. 6/10 there's not much eyecandy.

1st one,
i like the stripes, and the way the font seems to just sit/ean against one of them. but im not too fussed on the way you blended the render into the background. 8/10
2nd,
i like the color scheme, and the overlayed face on the left, the render is not still and lifless which is a good thing. and in general i like the background. 9/10
