Deathmetal isn't emo. Not by a long shot. Deathmetal is badass, TPAM. And judging by what I put as my Top 10 songs and what I posted in the music thread, do I look like an emo to you?

TPAM, death is part of the emo subgenre. If it is to do with killing yourself or slitting your wrist, it is emo.

No, TPAM. Deathmetal has no roots in Emo music. If it is do with killing yourself or slitting your wrist, it's not emo, it's just suicidal. The band "The Strokes" made a song called "The Razorblade", and it had a bit to do with killing yourself, but they're not Emo music.
