Sorry Den but I can't make head nor tail of what you are trying to say. I assume you are comparing fighter craft, which, isn't for the SHW forum.

Yeah, that's the sort of thing. I seem to remember that they were a lot easier than using the steering wheel, though for some interesting reason I was still using the normal pedals. The strangest thing is that I've never even driven a car before in my life, though I did recently get my learner's license.

Ahem, I think I have led the topic somewhat far astray. Back to the discussion. I am willing to believe that the MiG-29 is better than the F-16 Fighting Falcon, as the latter hails from the 80's and the former I believe from the 90's - but since I really only look at the more modern hardware I have little idea, so I'll leave it to someone more versed in older technology.

gettin a bit off topic america boasts all the time about their military arsenal and superior training and say their marines and special forces are the best in the world but its fact british SAS are the best special force group in the world and american pilots are the best again no australian pilots are the best trained america just has the best technology and equipment and the American navy lives up to its name tho.
just cuz u got the best toys dosent compensate for not know how to use it lol

as in saying that i apologize for any broken pride for america and other countries that feel they ain't the best in what ever lol

the information i gathered to put this together is of watching a lot of national geographic and discovery channel shows and expert opinion from American British and Australian military personnel eg pilots, marines, SAS, historians, military know it all nutjobs and soldiers i have met through the Australian defense force on exchange programs and presentations by military personnel.

seriously watch a lot of discovery channel shows about american military they say it all the time in it but not like where are the best straight forward but the give the impression and the choice of words and yer lol i have herd them say we are the best a few times lol XD

soz about being off topic i had to put that there to see what the reaction would be and i had a look in wiki at f16 mig29 stats and the mig can out do the f16 in cretin areas like the engine power and maneuverability

doesn't mig 29 also have a radar system that allows it to fire in all directions? I can't remember what it's called exactly, but I think it's called P.I.R.A.T.E

btw, I think it also comes down to skill as well; a well trained pilot in say, a su 27, could probably gun down a recruit in a f22
