Lol, Master_Chief is a fanboy.

Anyway, soho, my point in bringing up Yuri's Revenge is that more people still play RA2 because YR was less accessible, plus it was considered by many to be such a broken game. The same might apply to TW/KW, who knows?

Oh, I did play it, even before I posted that KW's balance is fucked up. Wolverines are too powerfull, like shatterers, nod's epic unit is too weak, the hammerhead assrapes anything, etc...

@Master_Chief

Perhaps this is why it's weak?

Quote

A giant quadrupedal walker which looks like the bigger version of the Avatar warmech named the Redeemer which can garrison two infantry squads to increase firepower and specialization (militant squads - heavy machine gun, militant rocket squad - missile pack, saboteur - self repair pack, Black Hand - flamethrower turret. The redeemer's special ability is to be able to charge up a rage generator in it which when used, will make all enemy units attack each other.

Making enemy troops fight against each other could be why...

They have had a year to balance C&C 3 and make riflemen counter rockets (rocket squads)... and they still can't do that. :P

Apparently if you build a Stasis Chamber as the Reaper 17 faction and sell it you get $600 back and a Ravager squad. Ravager squads are worth $1200. Can anyone who has the game confirm this?

You don't want to know how much damage the Redeemer can do once it has two repair-pods and a Cloaking Field on it. Just run it really close to the enemy, use the Rage generator and run away (lol) as fast as you can. Once you get out of their range and stealth, the enemy will start attacking itself.

^ Sounds fair, I tried using the Rage Generator with an uncloaked Redeemer and it did bugger all. At first, the thing kept shooting when I wanted it to use the ability, so I had to set the stance to passive, stop and then try it again. However, when it used the generator, the enemies kept attacking the Redeemer. As long as you don't cloak it, that thing is horribly broken but unlike the MARV, in a negative sense...

I haven't played it but it'd be better if they coded that generator so that after it is activated each enemy unit effected will retarget (which will create chaos) instead of them keeping their lock on the redeemer.
