Step 1. Forcehighpoly

If you have a fast video card, you should try using the -forcehighpoly command line parameter. 1280x1024 32bit colour with this option on makes Dawn of War DC and Soulstrom look even more magnificent.

Try edit your DC and Soulstrom window shortcut to like this:(Mine like this) "C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm\Soulstorm.exe" -forcehighpoly

Step 2. fullres_teamcolour

In your DOW- Soulstrom diretory, you can see "Local" file. Edit this file, and add this the line:
fullres_teamcolour=1

See this compair screenshot.

The detail is so much finer. Not something you notice in the heat of battle, but makes for good eye candy and awesome screenshots should you need to take them or get bored.

Do you happen to have any other samples, like one of the Ork Big Mek or Dark Eldar Haemonculus?

Thanks for this.
The blurry crap really got on my nerves, especially seeing as they dropped the model quality since DoW.

The minute I saw this topic I thought you were going to say "Get Annihilation". Anyway, it's relatively old hat and i've been playing with this for ages. I suppose the only reason why they didn't make it mandatory is because of your video card which be, to scale, far more demanding than the other reqs. You would be surprised how much a game can change with a line of code command. (well, not really since everyone goes 9999999hp or something)
