[Kichō]

I'm playing on Aoe3:The Asian Dynastys made by Microsoft seeing as this game has bugs and pretty funny ones etc...It's a good game but in the upcoming TAD patch theres a few nerfs...

If anyone played/has this game what is your fave nations?

Mines: China,Japan and Spain

AI is pretty good and funny.

If you want mods and maps go here.

Now for the strange moments.

First we have a undead Indian Sowar.(Looks like Zombie units exsist in Microsofts games )



Indian Zamburak gets stuck INSIDE the building.(Along with an army) >.<



My AI ally gets stuck within my army.

I tried to get into the game but I just didn't like it. Age of Mythology is much better.

I played alot of AoE back then. I remember my games against 6 hardest with two of us with my father in AoE 2. In 3 my favourite faction are the turks (great bombard)

Also theres rumour about AoE4 and 5..Microsoft unofficially announced it but they may not make it.

Lets say that the zombie unit bug is in this game.
You have a population limit of 200(But this can be removed by downloading a mod which I have,If you want just ask)
There 9 Nations in V.AoE3,12In the warcheifs and 15 in Asian Dynastys.
5 AI settings.(Sandbox,Easy,Medium,Hard and Expert)
Worldbuilder(Similar to EA's)
You can play online(obviously)
You can buy mercenaries.
In the Asian factions you can buy european/eastern troops.
There are EPIC units BUT these can only be activated through cheat/codes.

AoE has allways been one of my fav games of all time
but i was dissapointed about AoE3
Dont call me dumb-nationalist or sumthin
but Sweden was one of the most powerfull european nations at the time but isnt heard or seen in the game at all.

so ill wait for Total-War Empires in order to play Sweden for the first time in a game

Theres a mod that adds Sweden to the game (Currently it's a beta)If you want it just ask.

The AoE games(especially Age of Mythology) have always been some of my favorite RTSs, and I never got any significant bugs in AoE3 so it might just be the expansion that has them. Also, I think Sweden probably wasn't included just because it wasn't a colonial power in the present day US or central or south America where the game takes place.

It's more on the fantasy side and the units are cooler. The game also flows better and is bettter balanced.

I must admit...The campaign was awesome in AoM...

But skirmish didn't really amuse me..

I liked the Skirmish. The AI was very good at the time.

AoE II ruled and played it all the time back a couple of years in the past... AoE III simply aint the same thing

Yeah AoE2 was cool,But my vote would go to AoE3 as theirs a total 15 nations to play.

And AoE2 pretty much ended when you run out of resources.

wasnt the rumor actually a pic in one of the age3 guides or something? but personality i will rathe see the old age of empires with more realistic engines

There is in the Vanilla campaigns..But you can add them into skirmish.

I didn't like the campaign of aoeIII but the graphics and the physics are great.
I think that Aom and AomTT were much better because of the more interesting atmosphere.
I'd be dissapointed if there will be no aom2.
