Tough one. But I'd say my current favorite is Macross Frontier's. It's got that 500 million dollars budget special effects, in full high definition glory and it's a kick ass song too.

Same here, but to me the music just doesn't fit the mood the opening sets. The song for Claymore seems like it would fit a bit better.

The first Gurren-Lagann OP. Probably the first J-pop song I liked. Code Geass R2 has a nice opening too, if only because it's so cheesy.
