The best handgun ever made

No. It's a German weapon called the Sturmpistole. It was basically a glorified flare pistol which fired a round that carried a tiny 3.4 ounce shaped charge warhead. It was even more futile than the anti-tank rifles.

The good thing is that you can knock over a 200 lb. man in one shot with that thing.

So you want REALLY powerful handguns, eh?
The S&W 500: fires .500 magnum cartridges- I saw this gun when I was at my local gun store buying new rifles- didn't buy it though, and the ammo's quite expensive, IIRC:

The Zeleska 600 Revolver: fires .60 calibre shells:

It is an actual revolver made in Austria.
The Thunder .50 BMG(I defecate you not!) handgun:

The Maadi-Griffin .50 BMG handgun:

SOCOM's are classic. A very badass weapon, IMO. I like the sound it makes when it fires. You can almost hear the hammer moving back and forth... Definetly cooler with a laser sight.

The Mk 23 Mod 0 (SOCOM) pistol is in my opinion one (if not) the best hand guns on the market today. Specificaly designed for US SOCOM operations it was the first pistol of it's kinda to not be designated or designed for a defensive mode on the battle feild. It was meant to be an offensive hand gun and used in a first strike mode against an enemy oponnent. It's a 0.45 APC caliber handgun which gives it plenty of stopping power, it can also be attatched with a Knight Suppressor and an LAM (Laser Aiming Module) for night time combat and pin point accuracy. It was meant to withstand the toughest weather conditions and still be combat operational. It went through some of the most stringent test for a hand gun and completed them above and beyond the mark thought possible. the gun is able to fire reliably in temps ranging btwn 140+ F* and as cold as -25 F*. it was also submerged in 66ft of sea water for two hours, in surf, salt-fog, sand-dust, mud, icing, and was fired when unlubercated and fouled and was still able to perform.

I've got a soft spot for old fashioned firearms...I generally prefer old WWI-WWII era rifles to the ones today (although modern guns are nice too). And I've always liked old revolvers- You are not going to shoot a thug with a hot .45 Long Colt, and have him looking down at that hole through his chest big enough to park a Mini Cooper in, and have him say “Hey, that's too old fashioned!â€

I don't know why people have the need to own these massive guns. I mean they require years and years of practice and training, and have the capability to stop elephants. When all you really need is enough to stop a man or deer in its tracks.

Anything handgun I said I liked in the past, well I was lying.
I am in love with my .223 pistol my grandpa got me for deer hunting.

Who hunts with a .223? Something like that is only good for shooting rabbits and for target shooting.

Hey, don't diss the .223, that's the only ammo I can actually afford! But I mean this thing is NICE, it also has a scope on it. My grandpa lended it to my uncle ( since he has certain disabilities which hamper his mobility ) and he got a good number of deer with it. I don't ever need a lot of power it's not like I'm gonna need to shoot down helicopters I just want a nice deer gun and I got it. 'Nuff said.

Hey, it works. You don't need fancy SOCOM Uberkill Shoot-o-rama 5000. For example: You fuck around and shoot something ie hen pheasants, cougar, neighbor's dog. Well, here come the DNR, and they gotta take away your firearm.
With that fancy gun: " Aww, man! I payed $2000 for that!"
With my idea: * Straight up hand him the gun* " Pff, take it."
It is something I can easily replace for like $200.
EDIT: That is the only reason people buy Savage Arms lol
