Excuse me, but our IP has gone and shaped us again at the exact moment of the release of something I want to download. It's currently in progress but won't be finished for some time.
Good to hear people are liking it so far, and I cant wait (though... I... have... to...) to see it myself.

And I do approve.
That looks amazing.
I don't know if any of you looked too closely, but there's a wealth of beautiful little touches in there that I haven't seen in a game of this sort for a long time. The aircraft carrier decks open to retrieve planes (they don't just disappear), the Tesla animations are cool, the build animations look awesome, the physics look as good or better than any RTS I've seen (flags flapping, debris showering, buildings collapsing, ships sinking, planes crashing etc.), the sounds as you say Stinger are incredible (Kirovs... need I say more?), the explosion effects are beautiful and that water looks freaking incredible. Tesla Towers placed on water are double-ended, shadows are crisp, the colours suit perfectly, and generally I'm impressed. Can't wait for the game now...

This is a good step in the evolution of the traditional C&C "build anywhere system" as it allows the attacking player to damage a structure before construction is completed - this way you don't have armoured fortresses sprouting out of the ground in front of you.
God, I love the sound of the Soviet AA ripping into those Allied planes - it gives me aural pleasure.

Other things I noticed:
>The tactical nuke draws / sucks nearby units into it - this was an idea that posted several times on the boards in the ShockWave forums here for various Generals Powers
>The Soviets have a helicopter of some kind that fires a rocket barrage, sort of like the Comanche from Generals
>Particle effects use exhaust instead of contrails

Yeah, I saw that too, looks great!

Hmm, I do have to agree. But then it is still alpha or whatever, and that nuke effect didn't look totally finished, so hopefully we'll get something a tad more polished for the final version.
I still didn't see any Empire of the Rising Sun. Keeping that close to their chest, aren't they?

Shame on you, indeed. XD
After Red Alert 2, I vowed that I would never again play C&C on a PC that wasn't able to run it smooth, with everything flat out.
I'm hoping my aging machine will be able to run this - I don't have any problems with C&C 3 or KW - because by the time Red Alert 3 comes around my machine will be three. =o

Btw, that nuke is not a nuke, it's a vacuum bomb.

The "nuke" at the end looks more like some kind of implosion bomb to me!

Glory to the HYPNO TOAD

really its like bitching about the B1 in shockwave, since when the scale was important for the game to be fun?
and about the new ore field........well..........i want to play it before saying how is the new system.......but i am sure is better than having ore/gems flotating in water

and about the repair system of C&C3, correct me if i am wrong but...........isnt the Allieds the ONLY ONES with repair drones around the warfactories?
