Spain were clearly the better team tonight. This victory is very well deserved indeed. The scoreline doesn't do much justice to the action on the pitch though. I nearly spat my heart out seeing Marcos Senna missing a sitter :wow:
Congratulations!
PS: Anyone noticed the person depicted in the white shirt worn by Sergio Ramos during the trophy presentation?

Congratulations to Spain, the rightful winners! A team that played well throughout the entire tournament. One of Torres' lightning-fast plays left the Germans with no answer. A well-deserved victory!

Spain didnt play as well in this tournament as everyone says they did. They only scored one goal, didnt have too many chances and could have gone out against Italy. (Who also did not deserve to win)
At the first half of the tournament the Netherlands deserved to win. Its a shame they slipped up against Russia.
One thing I have learned this tournament is that the BBC commentators and Football commentary team really are shambollic. (Except Liniker he's awesome) Our hard earned money is going to fund that terrible commentary.
Disgrace.
Today it seemed like they really didnt give a shit about the final. They seemed bored.
And it doesnt help that I have to write an 8000 word essay on how they made it exciting either.
Bollocks

Alan Hansen has the interpersonal skills of a goldish - no, wait, that's an insult to goldfish everywhere. Scratch that: an amoeba. He lacks the charisma to be on television and drones on and on and on and on in the same monotonous tone. Cure for insomnia? He's it. He ought to endorse Duracell.
Alan Shearer is a lout who talks the talk but won't walk the walk. Has been? Never was. And Mark Lawrenson, well, he needs to remove the blood-sucking leech from his upper lip.

Too true.
Martin O'Neil isnt too bad though. Hes at least seems to know what he is talking about and has experience as a manager so he can actually make judgments about them.

O Neils my least favourite of them all! For a start he contradicts himself atleast three times a match.
Oh well. I think it narrowly beats watching adverts. But barely.

Congratulations to the winners. When I saw how our lads played last night, I realised that we didn't deserve to win. Once again, our passes were about as inaccurate as a blind monkey with a shotgun and whenever Spain had the ball, we didn't do shit until they were right in front of us. Spain on the other hand played fast and aggressively as far as I could tell. They put effort into it. Kudos to our keeper though, if it wasn't for him, Spain could have won much higher.
