I Run Off of windows me now, i used to use 98 and my file extensions would show up, (ex, Crash_Course_Canyon.map, SummerVacation.jpg,Short_Stuff's.Html)
Any time i wanted i could change a music file from mp3 to wav but now i have this and the extensions dont't show and when ever i try to change anything to html, or wav or text it dont work...can anyone help me?

Go to My Computer, click Tools, select Folder Options, click on the View tab, at the Advanced setting rollout, choose it and uncheck the 'Hide extension for known file types' box.

But remember that renaming a file won't change its internal format. Just cause it's called .wav doesnt mean it really IS a wav file. :P

Right. And for what you rename a .mp3 file to .wav? :P

I need to do that for my site music because it only accepts .wav formating not mp3 on my old computer i could do it but not on this one

Well then this isn't going to help. You need a sound editing program to open the mp3 file and then save it in wav format.
