I haven't been able to download the official release yet as all the servers are full. But I noticed RC2 was rather slow by comparison, even though I like the new features. Any tips on about:config stuff to make it faster?

No ideas on the about:config tweaks yet, but a lot of the inner workings of about:config are similar to Firefox2 - which means that ones you've already applied to Firefox 2 should be able to be applied to Firefox 3. Anyways, a little update from the Firefox base. At this time, 1:15 BST - with just under 5 hours to go, Firefox 3 has been downloaded a massive

6.25 million times.

Well, a further update to Firefox3 downloads, it has now surpassed 7million downloads, and at this rate, may just make 8million before the time is up.

FF3 is pretty slick now. I really like the interface but there are still a multitude of bugs which is annoying.

I use Opera 9.5 which was released last thursday :P

What Bugs? Using it since Beta 4 and i have not faced a bug that would hinder Day to day use. Opera 9.5 is good and thank god they fixed their awful skin but the lack of customization kills it for me.

Say you want to watch a video and sometimes it would stall causing you to restart firefox and then the process starts again. Happened since Firefox 2 and still hasn't been fixed. >.<

Fine with other browsers though.

It happened to me before, mostly opening MPEGs in the browser itself rather than downloading them - I think it was a problem with the QuickTime plugin or something. Anyway, I've downloaded it, am using it, and like it very much - though does anyone know how to make it retrieve the tabs it saves? I get the feeling it should do it automatically, but it doesn't - actually it doesn't even seem to go to hope page some of the time. At any rate, it's very slick, and looks much nicer than before.
