How many polies? Isn't that detailed. I know I can't judge, but these things are still bland.

until i've seen proper renders i wont judge these but all i can say now is: looks okay, nothing new but still okay. there are apparently a few technical mistakes and mishapes but that can easily be solved. the unit design is okay but again, nothing special. ill wait for those renders before i start going into the details.

tutorial on rendering?? if you use 3ds you just create ground by drawing a big plane underneath your model. then you put a skylight in the sky (doesnt matter where). go to material editor, click on insert material. choose raytrace, adjust colours a bit (optional). apply to model. then you go to render -> advanced lighting -> raytrace (or something like that). then just press render or press f10 ad then click render. render. save as .png. done! if you use gmax, i really could'nt say. ;)

OK, now I know why. Tanks shouldn't have a too big flat surface, otherwise it will looks bland. But you did a pretty good job, I'd say, since it's under 700 polys.

hmm the tanks are a bit too boxy. the warfac looks quite okay but could use a bit more detail and/or a new design :D

I like the Russian Heavy Tank, and the Bison looks like something pulled from the game Total Annihilation. Very nice.

sorry double post but all models are rescaled. russians no more tesla, but they have the
ICE SPITTER
Posted Image

Armed with twin nozzles that fire a stream of liquid nitrogen, it is an effective anti-infantry weapon and building clearer. it's weapon is also able to stop enemy vehicles when the situation arises.

BMP-4
Posted Image

Russia's anti-air and anti-infantry platform, it is armed with a 30mm cannon capable of shredding flesh and bones and thin metallic plates. it also is armed with a missile pod, for those pesky tanks. lastly, it is capable of transporting up to 4 infantry in it's buoyant and armoured hull.
