What I have here is a collage I made with Paint of all of the starships I could find pictures of in the Halo games. We've got the Pillar of Autumn which appears in Halo 1, the Longsword Bomber which appears in all three Halos, the Pelican Dropship which is in all three Halo games, Forward Unto Dawn which makes an apperance in Halo 3, the Spirit of Fire which is gonna be in Halo Wars and the Cairo station which is in Halo 2.

Now, I know it sucks becuase I made it in Paint. Don't try to steal it because I signed it. Also, I put in a Marthon symbol just to make things more Halo-Bungie-ey.

First of all, I don't have $300. Second of all, I don't want to have a trial that ommits 40% of the features in the actual version and you can only use it for a month. Third of all, I probably would suck at photoshop.

Try Gimp, it's the poor-man's Photoshop :) ... (i.e. it's free)

The education system over here is so good that certain schools give free Photoshop

GIMP=Nearly as good as PS. I use it, and I'm not quite that bad :).
Try it out. Also- your thing is ok... but... its just a bunch of images C+P'd together.

well, for starters, paying money for photoshop is... not very smart :) . the trial version doesn't ommit anything, you just have the full photoshop for 30 days. and well... it's in fact very easy to use, that's what makes it so great.

anyway you can always try gimp although IMHO it's nowhere as handy as photosjhOOp.

O Rly? I skin, and make sigs and wallpapers in GIMP. I would say it is as useful, definitely. Nao shut up camille, or I won't finish that sig for you :) [/not serious]
No, seriously, GIMP does all the same stuff as PS unless you want to open .dds files or export in CYMK... and the fact I doubt you know what that means, tells me GIMP should do it for you :wtfh:.

I've tried gimp before. Hard to use, for me. That is because the selection is hard. You know, like, trying to cut objects out of pictures and putting them into other pictures? It's really hard because you can't select by making lines to form a polygon which contains what you want to copy and pasty.

Really? When I tried Gimp It would'nt let me do that.

P.S. I am working on Halo Starship Collage II. It is going to be made with Paint, but it's gonna be a whole lot better.
