Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, you heard it correctly, you get a chance to win a Red Alert 3 Beta Key!
This contest is being held at the A Path Beyond forums and will start today, on the 6th of August, and end on the 17th of August, on which the lightning round will be, and on which the last question will be asked.
The way this is going to work:
On each 2 days questions will be asked, you give the answer, and if correct, you'll go to the next round, if not, you'll be disqualified and not able to advance to the next round.
Questions will be trivia drawn from the original Red Alert, RA: Counterstrike, RA: The Aftermath, Red Alert 2, RA2: Yuri's Revenge, and Red Alert 3. Emphasis will be put on the main titles or general universe knowledge.
Please note that you'll need to have an EA ID account to participate in the RA3 Beta Test, and you'll need to have an APB forums account to submit your answers.
The days on which the questions will be asked:
- Wednesday, August 6
- Friday, August 8
- Sunday, August 10
- Tuesday, August 12
- Thursday, August 14
- Sunday, August 17th Lightning Round

Here's how to play:
- At 11:59PM PST (7:59AM GMT next-day) on a question day, we'll post two questions on our front page
- If you know the answers, send a private message to username "Contest" at the A Path Beyond forum
- If you do not know the answers, find out! You have 24 hours to submit your answers.
- When you answer the first question, include your valid EA ID account name and a valid email address, noting whether or not you already have a serial.
- We'll post the correct answers on the next question day; if you were right, you can keep playing.
- If the pool of contestants ever drops below seven, we will assign runners-up based on submission times.
- Lightning Round: If we have more contestants than serials on Sunday, August 17th, we will post three bonus questions as a lightning round. Beta keys will be awarded while supplies last to those who answer all three correctly.
Here are the nitpicky rules:
- Do not post your answers to the questions anywhere, as you will be disqualified
- If you are caught attempting to enter multiple times, you will be disqualified
- You cannot play if you are a project team member, or family member of one.
- You can play if you already have a serial, but are discouraged from doing so.
- We reserve the right to make the final judgment as to who the winners are
