It is a glove, Boidy an appendage could be the finger, the whole point is a creative use of language. Take the hand as the main object and each digit is an appendage.

I call bollocks. "Each appendage" would infer something more along the lines of a wetsuit than a glove. The fingers are not "each appendage", they are "each appendage of the hand". To deduce that from the statement would be very difficult if you did not mention the latex. Moreover, latex gloves do not keep you warm. They keep you clean."I sometimes enjoy your latex feel against my skin" means that sometimes they are latex. But "You keep me warm" assumes that they ALWAYS keep you warm.
