am i the only one who thinks the gameplay looks blocky and stiff?
apart from that, the exteriors and overall architecture are really beautiful, you can see a lot of effort went into that

It's a pre-pre alpha, and it's pretty good for it I think. Apart from two thigs, it's beutiful and visceral. I agree that these death cinematics should be less frequent (much) and it needs some more combinable combos and some über ones.

Look at Source for example...we got RTS and FPS games on the engine so I dont see a reason why shouldnt the CoH engine be able to run on a FPS game
actually Source is the physics enginner, the graphics and cover engine from COH is a update version of DOW engine IIRC
the game look awesome but:
-cinematic kills will get boring after sometime(example: the summons in final fantasys)
-the long range combat looks like is just for show
-WHERE IS MAH COOP?

Havoc is the physics engine (or maybe PhyX im not certain in the matter of the CoH engine)....the CoH engine is a completely new one thats based on the DoW engine....or at least a heavily modified version of the DoW engine (and with heavily i dont mean the "heavily modified" BF2 engine used in BF2142)

Havok IS the physics engine we're talking about here.
Source is a game engine, no more than that I think. Source and Havok work hand-in-hand in games like HL2 etc..

Havok works "hand-in-hand" with a bunch of engines. One of the examples is the Glacier engine.

I know the marine's armor is blue (to be technical, it's navy or midnight blue), which makes me think it's a pre-heresy Alpha Legion. The Chaos legion colors and general ornamentation have me thinking Word Bearers, but the skull on their left shoulder bears elements of the Iron Warriors. If anything, I'll be very interested in finding out these small details.
I would say that it was Ultramarine considering that they are the most advertise faction/legion.

It depends how you want your Ultramarines portrayed.
Dark and fearless? or Light and Heroic?

If I hear blue, I hear ultramarines.
The ultramarines are also notably a very great chapter, with an epic background and not so many 'present maleficiencies' as I would call it, to have certain elements block the marine off in game. Also the fact that they fictionally fought nearly everything, can make for a very experienced marine which takes on numerous chaos marines like that.

this has potential to be amazing, especially if it has a PC version....

Eh, this kinda screams out for a FPS/Third Person Shooter game rather than a God of War like game.
