At about midday today, I was informed of a very serious legal issue that concerns the release of Ground Zero. We are prevented from divulging any more information on this matter but as the potential ramifications are very serious we must immediately cease all of our plans and place them on hiatus until a sensible solution can be found. A lot of hard work and effort has been put into this by a large number of people and this news has come as a serious blow to us all.

Whilst there are various "suspicions" and "half truths" in the community as to the nature of Ground Zero, many espoused by members of the Moderating Team deliberately, what was planned is very far off of the mark from the suggestions posed thus far. Due to this impending issue we aren't able to go into detail on what was proposed and only apologise for the anti-climax this has caused, it was in no way intended to mislead people. We have planned, and are still planning, to release Ground Zero if possible.

We have been asked to request that all GZ related images be taken down for the duration of the postponement. In addition to this the related topics have had to be closed. As there are "some" members of the community that are aware of certain elements of Ground Zero, we would also ask that they refrain from any discussion of the subject matter to which they are aware. Any information should be considered privileged and may be detrimental to any resolution.

The only reason I can see why you wouldn't divulge info on the matter is because it'd actually reveal the form of what ground zero really is. Which is why I'm currently not pressing you for info.

This announcement sentence me very much, I don't have the english words to express it.
The Overdose's post is full of sincerity, and I can only hope that everything will soon resolved, and no matter what Ground Zero knowing that you have worked very hard.

Thank you Chronosheep. However, there is one other major possibility as to who is causing the legal trouble (with just cause) and said person might be able to see whats going on in advance. However, I should really remain quiet with what I've figured out...

Sad to hear this as the people behind it have put alot of work into it. I hope this legal issue is resolved quickly and painlessly and that GZ can continue ASAP.
