Looks faithful to the original.
Just a minor nit-pick, but seeing as you are a serious mod, I would advise using snow maps in media updates when you post pictures of Russian units to give them a sense of place.

She's beautiful - easily as good as any of the works in Contra. Are those Raduga Kh-22 (AS-4 'Kitchen') anti-ship cruise missiles I see under the wings? They were one heck of a weapon, that's for sure. Modified for air-to-ground use perhaps?

Yes they are KH-22 but in the reality have a variant for a land attack.
The special powers will be 2.
First A missile attack like I showed - (I'm still thinking how to be the final strike one or more planes, or one with combination of SU, or Mig fighters)-one special point needed.
Second Will be like USA A-10 strike- 3 stages (1,2,3 TU-22M3) But the difference will be that TU will drop a lot of bombs over the target area.
If someone have other suggestions lets hear them.

Niiiice. Good choices both. There's really no reason whatsoever the Kh-22 couldn't be adapted for land attack, so it makes perfect sense to me. A multi-plane-type power (Tu-22M3 with escorts) would be very nice, I have to say.

Nice model for nice plane! :crosseye:
I remember when I was creating voxel of this (to RA2YR mod) from blueprints (there was a misunderstanding with Mig Eater (PPM, Revora) and temporary blacklisted because one bad formulation). I have a talk about this plane with Creator (works with datas from satellites in Russia, creator of GenZH mod Contra, former ROTR team leader) on military discussion in Contra forum on Revora Forums and he said it's the fastest big bomber in Russian airforce with Tu-160 (same speed) and was used in Chechna.

The interesting thing about the Tu-22M of course is that it was always intended for maritime strike far ahead of anything else. While it can carry a fair amount of dumb bombs, it was first seen as an integrated weapons system for the Kh-22 and later some of the larger AS-series. A simple look at the configuration should show that; it's more like an oversized fighter jet, relying on external pylons, than it is a true bomber, with internal holds (it does have one, but it's not the key element of the design). Certainly the vast majority of all Tu-22Ms in service (and it should be noted that the fleet is relatively young in airframe hours despite being around since the mid-70s) operate under Russian Naval Aviation in concert with Tu-142 and some Il-38 MPA. These things were built to kill carrier battlegroups, and I suspect they would have done it very well. Nothing could really catch them, and even now only the F-22A has the supercruise necessary to intercept a Tu-22M with any chance of success. And the Kh-22 was certainly big enough for the job!
Only with later upgrades have they gained ground attack capability in any meaningful sense at all. But they have proven extremely useful to Russia as an easily available platform used as the world's best bomb truck; best because even though its payload might not match a B-52, its speed means it can carry out far more sorties in any given time. There's also been a lot of speculation on whether they might be armed with modern AShMs like the 3M54 Klub variants or cruise weapons such as the new Kh-101/102/555s.
Oh, and it looks like they might have made a land-attack variant of the Kh-22 anyway, so it's not even stretching the truth one iota!

Now I remembered in which film I have seen this plane!

(screenshots are from Czech Television, so sorry for titles)
Особенности национальной охоты [Osobennosti natsionalnoj okhoty] = Peculiarities of the National Hunt
main actor:Ville Haapasalo
Whole (tetra/)trilogy (or even pentalogy?!) is totally funny
:friday:
I have seen hunt and fishing.
Umm, MIG-"Supersonic Box" re-skinned?

Well umm. Only film I've seen them in is a clip from 'The Sum Of All Fears' where they carry out their primary mission, using AS-4s to attack a U.S. carrier. 'Course in the book it was the other way round, with U.S. jets shooting down Russian fighters on a training flight, but hey.

Alexei, I have to congratulate you on your exceptional Tu-22 model. It is always a pleasure to visit your media section and look at your work.
It seems you have great things planned for the Tu-22. Will the Tu-160 also be featured in the mod?
It might come as a surprise to you Stinger, but despite the western stereotypes Russia is not entirely composed of frozen wasteland.
(The above statement is not intended to be a put down to Stinger or anyone else, simply a statement about Russia’s climate)
P.S.: I can not wait to see the re-skinned MiG-31.

The Mig-31 re skinned will wait because I don't have I-net. Now I'm writing from my cousin in province.
As soon I fix the problem will post the new units.
See you soon I hope
