Thinking of doing something involving Tesla Coils for a science fair... anybody know how much it costs to make/buy one? I need at least two, an electro magnet able to draw the electricity towards a point in between the two, and copper wire. I'm thinking of putting an inactive coil that has a positively charged magnetic field to attract the electricity towards it... I call it a "Kelvin Koil"-very bad joke- and I would like to find the best material that can get hit by+absorb the electric field.
