The soft morning rain of spring,
it begins the day.
It freshens and refreshens my heart of
its pain.
A new day has come.
A sun rise giving promise
to a new chapter,
a new beginning of warmth and joy,
the friendly sun embraces my heart
glimpsing a bright future.
Spring turns to summer.
many days of splendor
spell out a warm joy promised by the love,
a warmth that is everlasting.
the days that last forever
as the heart beats love ever.
Summer fades to fall.
A warmth of joy fading,
like the length of the days shortening
and the colors on the leaves changing.
Summer is not compeletely gone, the heart believes,
but is fading as fast as the leaves
on the trees are falling.
All warmth is gone as fall chills to winter.
The sweet honey of hope freezes over in its tracks,
the heart stops its beating,
forever waiting...
waiting...
waiting for spring to come and hope to flow free.
Life has given me interesting experiences that is always influencing my personality and how I act and react. How I feel and believe and know. I was inspired after thinking about the seasons and decided to let my mind put the feelings into words. [Written 14/10/08]
