I am already preparing something visual to show everyones positions. You'll just have to wait another day for it.

In graphical terms I am the highest in the upper right. Your social beliefs obviously keep you below the horizontal line. The "traditional right" would be in the right upper quarter.

Funny, I always struck myself as slightly more authoritarian due to my semi-nationalistic tendencies. I guess I'm a libertarian nationalist.

You know Strangelove, if we ignore the economy, I think we could find plenty of common ground.

In sincerely doubt it, but worth a try.

Economic Left/Right: -6.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.41

It is my despise of anything that shouts liberalism that invited me to the strong option, which probably gets me this far to the left.

I was talking mostly about economic liberalism, like freemarket economy and the power of multinationals/corporations

Though I do have to say I find a lot of the question overly generic, the ones about economic views more so than others.

Economics: -4.00

Social Issues: -2.41

I was required to take this test, along with another one, my in my American Government class.

My teacher said that this one leans liberal (I mean look at the first question, you're almost a bad person if you answer otherwise based on the wording) and the other one was a one-axis map which is less effective.

It makes me feel good to be almost on top of Ghandi!!! |8 :P:

It's not that the test leans liberal, but that America leans to the right compared to the rest of the world.

Well yes, thats true but the wording in some of the questions had a liberal bias on them. I'm sure theres lots with conservatives bias too. I honestly don't think that there is a 100% neutral test out there.

But thats just me.

Economic Left/Right: -6.45 ( other test gave me -5.00 or even -7.75)
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.75 (other test gave me -1.38 or even -3.00)

Now I should be afraid of the CIA ;) :) :D

BTW, I hate politic bosses from every part of political compass with few reasonable exceptions (even on economic right and social authoritarian).
EDIT: Did test again, well, this test is just one and those questions are American (USA). 8|

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.

i thought i would be closer to the top right, but i do agree that this test is left leaning, becuase obviously they expected "conservatives" to pick the racist answers on some of the questions, but that is a very unfair assumption
