My 3 favorites:

1) Red Alert 2
2) Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends or Rise and Nations and its expansion Thrones and Patrions
3) Starcraft

these are all excellent even though i havent tried Starcraft.

1. Supcom has a better campaign

Yet it has multiplayer nobody can enjoy due to the insane hardware requirement.

2. Supcom has better graphics (yeah, yeah, graphics don't make the game, i've heard that a million times. but they help.)

Debatable, I personally think SupCom's unit designs are ugly as sin when you actually look at them.

3. Supcom has less stupid ai (get a lot of ships in TA, and tell them to go somewhere far away. I have never seen anything so painful. Plus the enemy AI tend to be stupid with their commanders and send them in to fight alone)

Nobody buys RTS games so they can play the AI.

4. Everything in Supcom is 3D. trajectories, shield shape, terrain, all that affect how it plays. TA does not.

Actually it does. It's entirely possible to accidently shoot down an air scout with a big bertha because it just happened to be in the way.

5. umm....well i cant think of a 5th legitimate reason ("TA hates me" (which it does) isn't legitimate as far as im concerned)

I rest my case.

when its first came out Generals was the best for me and stayed as it is until I meet with Warhammer Dawn of War :loels:

now I am more interested in Dawn of War than Generals but Generals still will stay as one of the best games 'for me' :P

We'd better quit making campaigns then...

Campaign = storyline component mostly

AI = Skirmishes
