I made this yesterday and today, for a (yet unannounced) project of mine. Model, skin and animations are all by me. Skin isn't fully finished yet.

Polycount: 840 (Made for BFME2 so that's OK-ish)

Don´t you want to use an infantrylike WWSkin/Spacewarp? I think the single elements can be seen a bit too clearly on the legs and "mouth".

I'm still improving on the animations a bit, this was less than half an hour work so I guess I could spend some more time on it.

I could use a WWSkin, but I really hate working with them and since this is a segmented insect, it would be better to do it like this. It's supposed to look like that on the fangs by the way, it's the same in the movie

Not bad at all for a half hour's work. Even though your skin isn't complete, it still looks really good. I couldn't get the video to work, but I would imagine that your creature walks fairly well. Nice creature concept DeathStrike!!
