Seven Star Assault is a 7 player map (obviously) designed for FFA play.
The map size is 475 x 475 with a rather large, size 60 border.
I designed and created this map after noticing that when playing a few games over Hamachi we'd sometimes end up with 7 players, and there was only one 7 player map available, that none of us were particularly fond of.
I have based this map on Defcon 6, even copied the texture pallete and made a few changes to the way things are made (Cliffs in specific)
This has been completed to my own satisfaction, if there are any concerns or criticisms to add about balance and such, please feel free to share your views in the thread.

Three-entrance maps aren't completely turtlish per se, especially in a FFA. But it there's bunkers like one I spotted, they do have a tendency to get turtlish very quickly. A 7-player map should be a good thing though
- will give this a look when my current batch of work is done.

OH NO, HE'S HERE!

But without dragging this into spam.
Europa is not a bad map, in case people get the wrong Idea, and it's not right to put down someone else's map.
We just don't enjoy playing on it.

Updated Download links in original post with latest version:
-Replaced MG bunkers with Artillery Platforms
-Removed supply piles around then center of the map.
-Added 4 supply piles to center of the map, two either side of the Oil Refinery.
-Increased the size of some base entrances slightly.

This might even be better than Europa 
One note though, on the minimap I see that there are a few hills/rock formations between the downward starting locations and the middle. These are not in the top of the map. For equality conveniences I suggest you remove those. They make microïng when attacking one of those bases a little bit harder than with the top bases.

Updated version posted up in original post ^
If you're talking about the rock formations just to the north of the two southern most bases, in this version I lowered them to make them passable, but didn't remove them.
I didn't want to make the map too bare.
-Also fixed a few texture errors I noticed

Seems like a good map. It looks pretty good visually and there's 3 entrances to a base which is always good. Stuff to contend for at middle is always good. I like the artillery platforms much more than MG Bunkers so that's a plus

exactly how many versions of this map are out there? because ive had a bunch of cases of different versions being had...u should know u were involved in a cuple of em yerself nid

There were three releases made here. Four if you include the earliest test version that I sent to Rich19, Erik, Zhen, and a few others.
Each time I make a new release, I exchange the old download links with the new download links and make a post to tell everyone that it has been updated.
It's not hard to keep up with the latest release, so you should not be whining about this.
Furthermore, when I tell people, in-game, to go download the latest version, nobody seems to listen to me.

Might be better now to finalize the map. Collect comments, contemplate the suggestions, consider changes, finalize map and consolidate download, don't touch it again. Then go on to another project.

Played this map recently, and while it is a bit turtly, it's quite fun. CHEERIO, NID.
