RA3 DRM-free?

Makes sense that it wouldn't have DRM, the Steam system is a better licensing system than that flawed system EA developed.

Everything should use Steam as far as I'm concerned.

You can play games offline on steam, except for games like TF2.

to be able to enter offline mode you need to be online first, something hard to do if you lost internet for a techproblem or a shitty telecomunications company wanting to get more money. because the DVD of the retail orange box does.....nothing at all

That's not true. There have been days I booted with my computer with no internet, started on offline mode and my all my games still worked. I have internet problems as much as everyone.

You need to register/login your Steam account, online, on your PC once.

Then, after your account information and your games are stored in your PC you can do an offline login IN YOUR PC.

This is why Steam installation requires an Internet connection, and logging in/registering a Steam account is part of the install process.

Make sure your Steam client is up-to-date.

In Settings window make sure the 'Don't save account credentials on this computer' box is unchecked.

I remember always getting the "Steam cannot connect, go to offline mode?" message when my wireless was playing up.
