Anyone remember the good 'ol Lag Bomb Idea? I have a new one! Pretty much, it' a 3/5 star Gen's power, and a plane drops a giant bomb (just like a MOAB) and it bursts into a HUGE cloud, except it looks like this:

It'll show the Insignia and the words in black at the bottom. It's power, of course, is to MASSIVELY slow down ALL units caught in its range (in Speed and RTOF, hell it could even lower power), but it would NOT damage ANY units.

The concept of a 'lag bomb' that slows down units, but not the game isn't a bad idea. Now what it looks like, could be different.

What it could look like couldn't really be all that crazy.

It is still an intresting concept though. A bomb that slows units in an area isn't such a bad idea.
You almost did, didn't you?

Perhaps if it were a giant sticky mouse trap or a glob of honey.

References to companies like the original idea is a definite no.

But, if it was related to pop-ups or likewise, it could be a perfect EMP Bomb replacement for the Internet General.

Only problem is that all units affected by this bomb would turn red as a side effect if coded to be a slow down as opposed to EMP. This is unchangeable as far as I know, due to the red color being used for the Frenzy power, and I think that the color is hardcoded as well.

You can't make units move slower using that code you're talking about, just fire slower or something.

Actually, the Microsoft thing was meant as a crude joke...yes, I'm about as bad as the Joker at joking. Anyway, the lowering RTOF would be good, however, it should be somewhat DRASTIC. Now, about the graphic, how abouts a giant snail that speeds over the entire area and covers them in slime OR how about if they are drowned in a huge torrent of cookie dough (if for Cookie Gen) OR a giant television falls in front of them, switches on to some show, and EVERYTHING in the area of affect (which should be somewhat triangular) would have less RTOF. Also, anything else you can slow down would be good...
